Id be interested to see that. Every truck i have done which is several had the nav deleted. If it were there I am sure they wouldnt have bought a nav from me that does the same thing they have.

Your generosity on this forum is beyond reproach. I have never witnessed you fish for business. But I assure you that it's the only place that I would let touch my truck! :)

What trim level did you get?

I think he's the 3rd person on this forum to be stickered for the delete, but have the nav when the truck shows up.

I haven’t read all 15 pages, but do the trucks still have Sirius xm, just not the Sirius 360L?

My truck's sticker did not specifically "delete" the Nav/Sirius, but my order said "Sync 4 w/Sirius XM 360L". The Window Sticker just said "Sync 4" and "AM/FM Radio". My truck has been delivered and included Connected Nav and Sirius XM 360L. The dealer was perplexed and THINKS that if the Nav/Sirius was not ordered individually, but part of a package, you are more likely to have it on the truck.

Nope. There’s no SiriusXM whatsoever in vehicles with the 360L delete.

My recently delivered truck has the forced delete on the sticker. I do not have any form of SiriusXM, I have to use the app via CarPlay. There’s also no hint of there having been connected nav previously, if anybody is curious. Those buttons simply don’t exist anymore (so at least it’s nice there isn’t a grayed out button you can’t use, I guess).

The app doesn’t work very well, if you’re a regular Sirius listener, fair warning. Any call or other interruption and for me at least it won’t resume playing without touching the phone, which is less than ideal. For some reason the CarPlay controls for the SiriusXM app on the 12” screen don’t seem to do anything reliably, either…sometimes they work, sometimes it just ignores me.

Honestly, its annoying me more than I expected, I hadn’t realized how much I relied on SiriusXM in rural areas without cell or radio service for music/news. I’m happy it meant I got my truck faster, but I do wish there had been a more elegant solution. The connected nav I don’t care about, as it didn’t add anything CarPlay doesn’t already let me do, but SiriusXM bridged a gap in coverage. I am seriously debating getting one of the small $99 Bluetooth capable radios like the SiriusXM Roady BT and sticking it in my truck, which feels kind of silly, but alas, parts shortages.

Amusingly, after the 3.5.2 PowerUp install, I got a message in FordPass about a SiriusXM 6mo subscription, and there’s a radio ID associated with it. I am left wondering if that means either somebody else who got “my“ radio is going to have an issue with their trial, or if a fully functional but vestigial radio is trapped inside the dash just lacking an antenna and software enable.

Of interest, I pulled apart my top dash and shoved my camera down in there. My radio has the mustard connection for satellite. so I replaced the antenna, bought the antenna splitter for behind the glove box and ran it to the acm. Forscan change to turn it on and I have satellite radio.

I figured it was possible without major changes, since the antenna was reportedly the missing item. Do you by any chance have a list of part numbers you used?

For anyone wondering about adding Xm back or even nav see here:

https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/my22-adding-siriusxm.14798/page-7#post-312479

All it cost me aside from 70$ to get Forscan running was a 3 dollar antenna from a 2011 Grand Caravan at a pick a part yard.

As dhageremtp said good chance you already have Xm. Ther may be no need to buy a turner.
Just turn xm on (APIM and ACM) in Forscan and add antenna that’s it! 1/2 -1 hours work.

If you want NAV as well, a bit more to it:

Right side XM antenna
Ford FAKRA splitter (Glove box to center of dash)
And a nav unit (eBay price about 200 used)

Yes in ours eyes 200 was not enough, in fords eyes generous.

it is not installing a splitter cable
About 47$ and the price difference between non Nav APIM and Nav as well as a Non XM antenna and XM those last 2 get installed regardless.

Plus the 47 well that is retail not wholesale to Ford.

I believe ford ran short of NAV APIMs and had to move trucks! 2022 were being delivered along side 23s.

As a side note not sure on the XM 360 ( don’t know if I have it and don’t care) if the problem were 360 units, Ford would have just substituted XM for XM 360.

So before Spending any MONEY on any add on to restore XM look at what you already have!

A lot of people did a lot of work and spent a lot of to figure this out, it was not just me. Check the link if you have an interest, I also give them a big thanks!
