Morning! Quickly approaching 30,000K miles. What type of services are you doing at 30,000?

Deep Sump trans pan, oil, and filter.

Transmission fluid and filter - I had a cracked transmission pan replaced under warranty at 29k.

At 30K Oil & filter, engine and cabin air filters. Rotate tires. Will do both differentials transfer case fluid and transmission fluid at 40K

What the people who designed the engine suggests. Look at your maintenance schedule. A lot of people get peace of mind wasting their money doing it sooner. Fine, it is their money and peace of mind. I’ve followed manufacturer’s recommendations for 55 years and close to 2 million miles of driving with nary a problem. My Ford dealer just tried to rip me off on $3000 worth of services that are not recommended at this time, one which isn’t recommended at all. Shameful.

This is my plan for 30k service:
Engine oil and filter (5k interval)
Rotate tires (5k interval)
Engine air filter (15k interval)
Cabin air filter (30k interval)
Transmission fluid/filter (30k interval)
Both diffs and transfer case (30k interval)

My Bronco is getting close. 28k now.

Both diffs
Manual transmission fluid
Transfer Case fluid
Engine oil
Air filter

I will do all of this to get the break in fluids out of my Tremor at 5k. 1st engine oil change was at 1k.

I’m not going to argue with people on the internet, but none of this is expensive and my vehicles outlast many of my peers’. Nothing about maintaining an expensive piece of machinery, based on used oil analysis and 4 decades of witnessing the damage that longer intervals causes, is a waste of money.

Edit: I forgot to add cabin filter and 5-tire rotation. Yes...this will kill a weekend, but it's a labor of love

That said for pb owners anyone thinking about an early 12v battery change given some of the nightmare stories about failures? I also think the original tires are fairly bad (wear isnt terrible but feels like this vehicle hydroplanes more easily than any vehicle ive ever owned).

My 30 K: Oil and Filter (every 5K), Coolant flush, Brake Flush, Trans Flush. Cabin and air filters were done when I got the truck at 24K.

Engine air filter, oil change, and a tire rotation should be good for a 30k service. Depending when you last did your cabin air filter that might be worth doing, too.
