I’ve heard a range of varying opinions, but I would say that it’s subjective. Depends on driving habits and how hard you work it. Most new vehicles I’ve owned settle in about 5k.

I also considered the Mishimoto, but it uses their exclusive O-ring. I like being able to use the factory gasket. They’re available at any parts store. Mishimoto does make good stuff tho. Haven’t ruled it out.
I agree about the paint. I actually plan to bead blast the black off for that reason.
I did consider the PPE, but I saw too many that had to grind cooling fins to get them to fit. There are also many options and some don’t offer a higher capacity, and some that do won’t work post 2020…and mixed...
