In '22 for whatever reason Ford elected to remove the temperature settings led indicators from the control knobs. When building a '23 model and viewing the interior they again appear to be back in the control knobs as I understand they were with the '21 model. Anyone that has received a '23 model able to confirm this? On my '22 Lariat they only appear at the top of the nav screen with the control knob only for on/off.

Doesn’t look like it. Looked at several in stock 23s XLT up thru Platinum and this is what I saw.

Thats a waste of chips I can see why the axed it for now. I have it on my 21 but never look at the numbers, if its to cold turn it right, to hot turn it left, just like the good old days.
Agreed. Too much hype on the temp dials. I like it on the screen, which is eye level. JMO.

The Build & Price tool is notorious for graphical errors.

Thanks for your response. Seems I inadvertently set of the "petty alarm" with what I only meant as a simple question.

I don’t think anyone took it as petty.

This. Numbers in dials is gimmicky and not useful.

To each their own I suppose

my 2020 explorer has the digital temp readouts on the hvac module and not on the sync screen, my 22 F150 is the opposite. I personally prefer the readout on the temp dials

I always look at the numbers on the dial when adjusting the temperature on my 2021. When I get cold or hot the dial is the first thing I reach for and where my eye naturally goes. Forcing my brain to focus on temperature numbers on a screen that has so much other information is too distracting for the task at hand.

Def enjoy it on my dial. Rather have both instead of one anyways like I had. More for what I spent. A different digital readout doesnt substitute the fact that they pulled the options and raised the price. Glad I got my 21.
