@DrivinTheTruck Just to be clear, What issues are you currently having?
Connectivity Services/OTA/Wi-Fi issues with icons randomly on or off every day. When they are off, I can't access connectivity services and as you can tell, my icons are red. When they are on, all appears working properly and icons are green except Wi-Fi if I am away from my home(which is normal). My Ford pass is so intermittent and yet, I know others that do not have these issues like me. I hope this helps. I was happy to find this thread to know how to pull up diagnostics screen just to see if my suspicion was right with these icons so now I have them turned on to monitor more closely and record. Please let me know if I can get any other information to help. Everyone has been fantastic and never disappoints.

On a good note, I am still DrivinTheTruck and not LookinAtTheTruck :D

I have the cable, but I am dealing with another emergency so I will not be able to address at this time, feel free to give me guidance and instructions and when I am able too, I will try it out and keep everyone posted, not to hog the thread so if it is better, just PM me or I am willing to share with the community on what happens, I can’t be the only one dealing with this….at least I don’t think so, truly a blessing with all the support. Please keep in mind that I will be a newbie with FORScan but technology is my life so I feel comfortable. Thank u @rugedraw @antho @Jesse-Infotainment @jcaspar and anyone else I might have missed ❤

Well my 2024 F150 XLT just started doing this. Deleted truck from app, now I can’t reconnect to truck with app, GPS is down, unable to select “connectivity” on screen. TCU icon goes green / red randomly.
Did you get any further with yours?

Well my 2024 F150 XLT just started doing this. Deleted truck from app, now I can’t reconnect to truck with app, GPS is down, unable to select “connectivity” on screen. TCU icon goes green / red randomly.
Did you get any further with yours?

I have not had a chance yet, but yesterday and today, everything has been working properly which is crazy.....One thing I did was remove the center wire on TCU and reinstalled to see if it was a loose connection like @antho @rugedraw mentioned to me. When I looked more closely, that one wire seemed like it might not have seated properly from when they replaced....anyways, last two days, it has been solid for whatever reason....I have not had a chance to follow up with rugedraw as I am nonstop right now, lucky to get 5 hrs sleep but I will have time tomorrow and I am actually going to reseat all wires on TCU and further inspect just to make sure before I do anything else...rugedraw provided me this diagram but might not be the case with yours since it is a 2024. I will keep you updated the best I can.

Once again, you two always seem to amaze.....So, a few days back when we were discussing, I looked as you both have requested about a "Loose Connection". I did not see anything out of the ordinary BUT I decided to pull out one connector and reseat (Don't ask me why I did that one, but I wanted to see/hear the click). That was the middle wire with the blue connector which I believe was the "ethernet" cable??? I did this a few days back but also visually checked again yesterday....Well, all connectivity services have been running rock solid since and all icons are normal. I do not know why I would not think of a poorly seated connector....I should have thought about that because of the work I do with wires/connectors. Once again, something so simple that seemed to fix many problems. which I have found in my line of work through many years. I will continue to monitor and hope that this was the fix. Rugedraw, I will reach out to you in a week or two (If this is ok) to verify that the errors you were seeing have cleared with my truck. Thanks so much u2 for being Rock Stars on this forum.

It's actually stunning that a single truck with 40+ modules along with all the other necessary 100's of harness connectors and pins......... That it comes off the assembly line with EVERY single pin and receptor in perfect contact.

And no telling how many of the gremlins that many modern vehicles experience are in fact a single pin that isn't perfectly aligned or seated?

Great post, by the way. And yeah, those 2 gents have helped countless fellas.

You are so correct good sir, I count my blessings every day to have such a forum to go to so I can learn as much as I can realizing that so much can be involved with the vehicle electronics today. Between the manual and this forum with many good ppl like yourself, it actually has been a pleasure for me to work some diagnostics on this beast of a truck….this forum has saved me many times over btw!
it’s now time for me to dive into FORScan to learn a little bit more and maybe break something just to fix it again ?

Wanted to check up and see about any updates u might have?
He has a U3000 code in the TCU citing an internal electronic failure. I think his problem may be different. I recommend he take it to the dealer.

Looked at the codes today, guy I know has the snap on scanner. (Pic below) sent info to rugedraw. He suggested going to the dealer. Sounds like a possible bad TCU. I’ve tried everything else. Frustrating when it’s a new truck with 3,500 miles on it. So that’s my next move. I will update here once I see what the dealer says.

Wow! I do appreciate that information as I am learning, looking forward to the issue being resolved…. Mine was actually replaced after a TSB update (tech said it was failing) but everything seemed to be working properly after the update while I was waiting for the part. I ended up doing the replacement because I was not able to find the answers I needed (I was very hesitant as things were working properly) It actually has been working the same since replacement except for intermittent issues which was resolved with a loose connection I believe.
