OP was asking about the USB-C port in the little cubby which is not fast charging. He said he was going to try the console port but has gone AWOL. You seem strangely rude and angry about this for some reason.

All I know is my 2024 XLT fast charges through the ports I mentioned.
Oh, I am rude?! Your funny :D. I am not rude nor angry. You are the one who dismissed my response as "incorrect". I expressed my experience with the ports in my truck which is identical to many others. Your truck may be charging at high speed, it does not make others who received other results in their trucks as incorrect.

The way you stated your original comment was that none of the USB ports in OP's or any truck were fast charging which is categorically incorrect. If I read that incorrectly then that's on me. Not sure what to tell you but have a good day I guess.

I have a 2021 powerboost and haven’t had any issues when using the USB-C or USB in both the front cubby or in the center console. My issue has been with the mag charger under the screen. I had ford replace the rubber mat but still the phone sticks there for a minute and then stops charging after a few seconds. Anyone have any experience with this?
I have never been able to get the mag charger to charge with any consistency. I have tried it without the mat, phone in different orientations, phone with and without case, etc. I read somewhere that it isn't powerful enough.

My 2024 XLT PowerBoost seems to fast charge from the front ports. Mostly I go wireless but if my battery is low, I will plug it in and it charges pretty quickly (similar to wall mounted fast charger at home).

Try turning off Android Auto if you have it. AA eats my battery life and heats up the phone. I turn it off from the phone.

What I don't understand, is why my home wireless charger works amazing, and the wireless charger in all of our vehicles is complete shit. Barely charges the phone at all, and generally get a "Charging on hold, phone is overheating" message. I assume it is to do with the AC vs. DC power situation, but for god sakes, the damn truck has an Inverter in it, can't the wireless pad be AC powered?

Just drove an hour on the highway and had wireless Android Auto going and I had my phone plugged into the USB-C port inside the console. I went from 65% charge to 85% charge by the I arrived at my destination. I have the truck in my signature. So is my truck different? Fast charging while connected to wireless Android Auto works fine for me. I have an S24 with the latest updates.

That is somewhat slow compared to today’s fast charging standards. Most high end current gen iPhones and android phones can charge 50% in 30 min when using the right power adapter and cable.

I looked up your specific phone and this is what I found:

the S24+ and S24 Ultra typically reach around 61% and 68% in 30 minutes, respectively, and fully charge in ~1 hour 9 minutes

It's definitely not "super fast charging" but it does what I need while I use it in the truck. I assume heat becomes an issue when you have a high wattage charger while using wireless AA or Carplay.

If it meets your needs that’s all that matters

None of the USB ports in the truck are "fast" chargers,
the USB standard calls for it to supply 5v at 1A. Extensions to the standard allow both voltage and current to be boosted significantly, but the supplying and receiving devices have to speak the same dialect (android & apple, for example, speak different dialects). The cable also has to be rated for the job, too.

home wireless are all over the board. For that matter, I have one with three pads, and they aren't consistent!

I have the same truck and I had to buy a different phone case so my phone would charge. Now I have no complaints.
