Love the icon graphics. Bottom left is sunset mode, bottom right is robot at sunset, top two fire the jellyfish left and right. Not sure about the topmost button. Maybe unboxing
lol
My understanding (and experience) is that the PowerBoost is using a flywheel to start, not the starter. And I see it as a non-issue. I have never noticed any delay starting from a stop.
I started a thread before I found this:
On a recent Thanksgiving trip to North Carolina, I noticed my oil temperature spiked while climbing the Blue Ridge Mountains in Tennessee. Well, actually, I noticed after I stopped at the welcome center and when I restarted my truck it roared like crazy...
I do not use eco mode, but don't drive like a mad man (usually). I generally see 23+ mpg even in hilly terrain. I seem to get the best mileage in local commutes, which is opposite of a standard gas engine.
My truck has a brief hum that I notice when climbing a hill - a brief pulse that happens a few times in a row. Sounds like what you are describing, though I have never noticed it on flat ground. I am guessing it is the electric motors assisting but I do not know for sure. Noticed the sound since...

My 2024 XLT PowerBoost seems to fast charge from the front ports. Mostly I go wireless but if my battery is low, I will plug it in and it charges pretty quickly (similar to wall mounted fast charger at home).
I have never been able to get the mag charger to charge with any consistency. I have tried it without the mat, phone in different orientations, phone with and without case, etc. I read somewhere that it isn't powerful enough.
This was a service update, and for me it had to be at the dealership. I don't have the TSB # in front of me right now. I know they updated a bunch of modules. It took several hours, so probably not something they can roll out over the air.
Back from Ford today. They replace the shifter module (I think) and did a software update to fix the powertrain fault error that kept coming up. Apparently there is now a technical service bulletin for it now. So far, so good. We shall see.
Good news is even though they updated a bunch of...

Back from Ford today. They did a software update for the oil life indicator. Apparently there is now a technical service bulletin for it now. So far, so good. We shall see.
Good news is even though they updated a bunch of modules, my ForScan changes seem to remain intact.
I am looking forward...
I have noticed recently that my 2024 PB has a vibration when braking, most notable while going down a steep hill with a stop at the bottom, where constant braking has to be applied with increasing force. Anyone else getting this?
I feel the vibration through the body, not so much the steering...
