Now that the answer is out there, let me show the work:

21-23 worked out most of the Powerboosts issues.

22-23 had many deletes of desired options. Other then some interior lighting deletes, everything is there in 24.

As was mentioned before, the Powerboost was essentially a no cost option, in 2025 it costs extra.

I greatly prefer the bronze to the marsh grey as a secondary color.
I have a 2025 on order, due to be built later this month. Hybrid was a 1900 option with a 1900 discount.

2021 F150 Limited Powerboost
My '09 Lariat has been a great truck but is getting long in the tooth. I was leaning hard toward a new XLT Powerboost or Lariat Powerboost, but reading the posts about F-150 quality on this forum is pushing me away. Is Ford quality that bad right now? Appreciate your seasoned advice.
Short answer from me is also Yes!
ALL manufacturers are having quality issues, and I believe the people who post comments in the forums are usually having a problem and are trying to find a solution to. Not too many of us just randomly make a post "My truck is running great and have had no issues!" I could do that right now but I would have to be knocking on wood while typing.
I love my '21 PB Limited. Powered my house for 3 days on about 10 gallons of gas. Just sat in my driveway and did its thing. Helped refurbish a church is a remote part of upper Michigan that didn't have electricity, just plugged in extension cords, let the AC run all day (92 degrees out) and ran all of our power tools. Drove it from Michigan to south Florida and back, like a Limousine. About ready to click 40,000 miles. Life is short, buy the truck you LIKE and WANT and don't worry about "but what if I have problems with it." Problems can come with ANY vehicle.

Yes, a 2024 F150 KR PB is worth it with the upgrades over a 2009. (I had a 2011 F150 5.0 Lariat) I had a few issues with my 2024. Like with any new vehicle, work with your dealer for any discrepancies.

My new 2024 had a few things 'wrong,' but I worked with the dealer and got all of them fixed. 1,500 miles later, and everything is great. I love the new features compared to my 2021 F150 KR PB.
This is kinda how I feel after about 11,000 miles and a bit over a year. Truck is engineered really well I think but the assembly too sloppy. I've had some stuff to have the dealer rectify.

Still have 1 or 2 things I need to get straightened out.

With that said I also have a family member with a brand new very expensive Lexus that has been in the shop 3 or 4 times in under a year and they can't figure out what's wrong.

So I don't know. All my previous cars were pretty old and simple and just kept running. I'm wondering if everyone's new stuff is much more hit-or-miss these days. I mean is there any full-size truck right now better than the F150 (which does have some issues)? I probably would have said RAM with the HEMI (again not perfect) but apparently the new Straight-6 has some big problems right now too.

Maybe a Corolla is still pretty bulletproof.

There's nothing really scary about the PB. The only real issue with a modern vehicle is if the wiring gets damaged. All of the little control modules are pretty cheap to replace if something happens. It's a fairly complex system overall but it's not a mysterious black box. So long as we keep reporting/collecting known issues and the solutions, rectification is pretty easy. You can already send an ai to a thread and let it summarize dozens and dozens of pages to more easily find the 'dope' of a thread.

With all of the modules on the busses it's pretty easy to narrow down issues. The biggest issue is really with the dealers and their 'check box' approach to diagnostics. If it's not in the service manual they just slam into a wall and are stumped. That's really the biggest issue. Take for instance my diff's spider gear issue -- nothing about acceptable total play out of the diff (combined with spiders/axle backlash) in the manual and they're just deer in headlights. Basically said it needs to be broken.
