It's them. I think that's the general usage for that size nut but trust me, that's them.

BTW, $58 for a set of U-bolts.

Along these lines is the Tremor shock actually firmer than the stock shock? Or is it a stock shock with a Tremor sticker??
The tremor is a unique shock. It has soft compression with slow rebound. I love them but many complain about them.

their measurements are totally different than non tremors. If you’re taking blocks out, pretty sure you need shorter shocks, not longer.

Collapsed extended
Stock rear shock 17.5 and 27”

Tremor Rear shock 18.1 and 30.5”

That nut is too big for #5. I tried just last week. It's not a 12mm or a 14mm, at least not on my truck. Fairly certain that is not a "Ford" part and not metric. If Ford gets their leaf spring packs from another supplier, it's likely they used SAE hardware for that part.

I received my 2WD U-bolts and nuts yesterday and as I had suspected they don't come as pairs but are sold as singular units, so I had to order the other two U-bolts along with the 2WD bump stops. ? I should have those by next week. ?

I have found Ford part listings to be woefully misleading ?

I just read the fine print and cross-reference other sites to figure it out. Beats waiting for someone to get on the phone.

I'm just saying they could really use to review their listings on their end to see if it actually makes sense to the consumer.

All valid points and I know it is my fault for not checking and I suspected it would be the case that they were not sold in pairs so I went in knowing that I might need to order two more U-bolts which was no big deal. ??

I removed my blocks about 2 months after owning the truck. No difference in ride or alignment. I reused my 4wd ubolts. I do remember the pins were a pain to line up.

UPDATE:

Had my alignment done. Here are the initial findings before they corrected it:
Ford F-150 Rear blocks removed - alignment way off First Alignment

The toe was way off from the factory, as was the Steer Ahead (likely to compensate for the whacky toe settings side to side.

The rear axle alignment after block removal had no effect on the alignment. As you can see, the Thrust Angle of the rear axle was almost perfectly in the middle of specs.

Moral of the story: It was set up like doo doo from the factory and I was driving myself crazy about axle position after my block removal. The block removal likely just exacerbated the pre-existing alignment issues from the factory.

Steering wheel is straight and she tracks true on the road. I need to get it up to speed on the highway to see if it got rid of the weird vibration over 75 mph (which has also been there since Day 1).

I never really understood how taking those blocks out would have effected your alignment, but didn't you raise the axle when you did it?

I left my wheels on the ground while I did it. There's now way the axle moved while I jacked the springs. I literally never touched it.

Not surprised and thank you for sharing the results. Did you get your alignment done at a tire shop or somewhere else?

@JCsTruck Sullivan tire. They have done solid work for me over the last several years so I sort of trust them ?

@Larrymoe the alignment of the locating pins was a PIA to get back in place on the driver's side. And there as you may have seen on yours, only the aft locating pin fits snugly. The front one has a much larger hole for the pin, so there is the slight possibility for misalignment of the thrust angle. Removing the blocks DID exacerbate the poor factory alignment.
