Set the stalk to one click below the 3 rain drops and it should work for you. Sounds like it's currently in the off position which you would use when going to a car wash etc.

That did it. So I misunderstood the stalk settings. I thought it was supposed to be in the bottom position for auto, but it's actually supposed to be in one of the intermittent positions. Thanks for your help.

Has anyone with no power to the rain sensor connector tried just adding 12v to the green wire for the rain sensor? After looking at all the diagrams it looks like infotainment is creating a bypass to the SCCM directly. Unless im wrong, diagrams show the oem harness going all the way back to the rear passenger side of vehicle. Guess I'll try one evening and report.

Finished this upgrade today with a $28 sensor off eBay. My 23 Lariat had the wiring and the fuse.

I did run into one issue though. Installed the sensor and made the Forscan changes but couldn’t get it to work. Checked the sensor and the side metal tabs were not quite lined up. Adjusted it just a drop and works great now.

I’ve got the stock stalk. Next project will be to replace it with the one with the “A”.

Could save yourself some money and buy a letter "A" decal

Yeah I’m not in any rush. If I find one on eBay I’ll swap it out.

I did, but it was not successful in working, I tapped into the accessory wire by the passenger kick panel. Think the middle wire may be disconnected as well. I may need to get the harness for $50 from infotainment, or get someone to provide a wiring diagram of their harness so I can copy.

This has some info on pins. https://www.f150lightningforum.com/forum/threads/rain-sensing-wiper-add.20168/
I might order the harness though, I don’t like cutting into car wires. Harness has plugs built in.

Just following-up on my install. Have a 24 XLT 303A (so has 360 cameras, etc.). I had the connector behind the rearview but it had not power going to it. I couldn't be bothered to try and find a way to get power to it, so I got the harness from Jesse (Infotainment). The installation was SUPER easy - took about 15 minutes tops with me taking my time and watching the video as I did it.

After installing the sensor, harness, and making the Forscan changes everything is working. I keep it on the three rain drop setting all the time. I've used it in the rain and am impressed with the functionality overall. I will say that I was initially disappointed with how responsive it seemed to be when using a spray bottle in my garage. The "real life" performance was MUCH better! I'm very happy with it.

I didn't get the stock. I can't speak for other trims etc. but for me the only difference would be the icon printed on the stock itself. There is no functional difference otherwise for my truck. Not worth the install time (or the cost).

I found a $30 stalk on eBay and when I went to buy it the seller came back and said the price was $42. No thanks. Mine too works fine with the standard "no A" stalk.

Exactly same experience for me, did the upgrade last week. Does bother me a little that they chose a constant hot 12volt wire instead of switched though.

One of the pins is ground on the plug, if I had to guess, black is ground, blue is probably the LIN signal, green would be 12V. I checked mine with the ignition on, engine running.
If you make the Forscan changes, the option will appear in the vehicle settings menu under wipers.
Do the Forscan changes need to be made before you will see power to the plug? Or will it have power before any changes so long as ignition is on and stalk is turned on?

Power should be there before forscan changes. and as a Note, Black was the 12volt+ as I found out after the fact.
