So... I'm finally getting back to this project with unusual results. All OEM parts except the sensors that are aftermarket.

Made all the required FORScan changes and received the following errors:

B1B38:08 - Right Front Inner Sensor - Bus Signal/Message Failure - IPMA
B1B42:08 - Left Front Inner Sensor - Bus Signal/Message Failure - IPMA

No errors related to the front outer sensors.

On to a little trouble shooting. If I change an OEM rear sensor with the aftermarket front sensor the error follows the sensor. This happens with both inner sensors. That appears to rule out a IPMA or wiring issue. I have tried another brand of aftermarket sensors with the same issue. Have only tried this on the front inner sensors. My next logical step is to remove the front bumper again and swap the inner sensors with the outers and see what happens. Unfortunately, I will not have time for about another month or so.

Only other possibility I see is to purchase OEM sensors and see what happens. That leaves the question as to why the outer aftermarket sensors are not showing issues.

Anyone have any other thoughts or ideas???

Thanks...

I believe I'm in the same situation as you were.

2021 Lariat PB, no cameras, added wiring harness and sensors. Getting a parking aid fault ?

How do I find out if my IPMA is setup for front sensing? And where do I get one that will work?

Hi, I just did the coding and wiring harness etc today. And I'm getting the same error message. Didn't get a chance to see the error code yet.
Mine is a 2021 Lariat with 360 Camera and Co-Pilot 2.0 (Lane centering but no Blue-Cruise dash cameras). In the bumper I have front radar, fog lights and active air dam.
With the part number provided by OP, that working harness has 2 extra plugs before the main Y split I have nothing to plug into. (Reading his description I think it might be the backup sound speaker and the active grille, my active grille wiring is at the top).

Did you run into the same situation with the wiring harness?
Did you figure out what was wrong causing the error message?
Thx

---------------**UPDATE**----------------
I swapped all 4 sensors to the back and they work well on the front.
Didn't get a chance to try auto camera on feature yet. But at least that confirms my IPMA is compatible and the wiring harness is working properly.
The non-OEM sensors are the culprit here.
Anyone has any way to get OEM ones for a cheaper price? I find $500+ for 4 sensors to be ridiculous...

----------LATEST UPDATE---------
I went to the dealer and they sourced me a set of same green colored sensor with different parts number. For about $57CAD each. And they work perfectly now.
However I've tried the black ones from the newer 2024MY trucks, and they don't work at all. You get a communication fault.

I gave up. I would need a new IPMA, side mirror cameras and front camera to get it all to work. Not worth another 2 grand.

Did you ever install the cheaper sensors? Did they work? The sensors are very pricey compared to what they used to be. Even the active park assist sensors are less than $25 each. But they are a different part number compared to the front and rear park aid sensors.
I just did this update to my 2021 PB Lariat over the last weekend. I ordered the sensors from Wheeler Fleet, and they are the Ford sensors at just $23.53 each. I was skeptical when first ordering them, but from what I can tell, these are the correct Ford sensors. LU5Z15K859AAPTM Park Sensor Ford Motor Co

Did anyone figure out how to get the front camera to turn on when an object is detected?

YES!
UPDATE:
I was able to purchase a set of 4 OEM sensors from dealer and online OEM parts retailer. They work flawlessly now. The camera automatically come on when detected an object in the front.
For some reason the model of the stock ones came with my truck is extremely expensive at $200/sensor. (The green colored ones)
I got a set of black ones and they don't work.
Then I was able to get a set of green ones but different model numbers than the ones I have in the rear. They work perfectly. They go about $57 each, CAD

I have 1 2022 XLT 302A with copilot 360 and the 360 camera system. I added the sensors and they show on my screen to turn on and off however I get a Sensor fault on my drivers screen when i turn them on. Has anybody experienced this. I did use aftermarket sensors and after reading some posts this might be the issue.

Hi all, I have a 2021 Lariat Power-boost with the 502A package 360 cameras, co-pilot 360 assist. I have switched out my bumper for one that has sensors, changed out my wiring harness. and Did the forscan changes that the op states and I cannot for the life of me get the front sensors to work. Any help you can provide would be much appreciated.

Likely your IPMA is actually miss a chip which leads it to not work. you would need to update the IPMA. That was the issue on my 2022.

Update it as in replace it? Do you have a part number?
