So here is the situation I’m in. 2021 XLT 302a. Installed the rain sensor and the auto wiper stalk. I do have a 5amp plug in my fuse box for the rain sensor but the factory plug above the mirror seems to have no power to the sensor with my combo. Perhaps it’s because I don’t have co-pilot or any of the 360 cameras. Idk???

I do have a rain sensor wiring harness coming Monday thanks to Jesse and Jerry from infotainment.com. I’ll let everyone know the outcome!

Yep, I'm in the same boat as you. Have the rain sensor but no power at the plug. Same deal, it's an XLT without the 360 or cameras. I PM'd Jesse as well, hoping to get a harness from him.

I pulled my cover down today and put a multimeter on the rain sensor connector that was stowed in the little holder. I get 14.5V green to ground and about 230mV on blue to ground, so I think I'm all set (minus the Forscan changes)?

FWIW - 22 PB 302A with 360 cameras.

I checked my truck and found the 5 amp fuse and the windshield plug present.

I checked for voltage on the plug but it was zero on all three terminals.

I checked for rain sensing wipers activation in vehicle settings but the option isn’t available to turn on.

Questions:

When checking the plug for voltage, does the ignition need to be turned on?

Is the camera mount a good ground for testing voltage?

If I make the changes on forscan, will the option for rain sensing wipers option appear in vehicle settings or will it only be available via forscan?

Truck is a 2021 XLT RCSB with 301 options.

Thanks

So I added my rain sensor today but when I added your SCCM line of 724-02-01 XXXX XCXX it always throw a DTC error...

If I use the "Rain Sensor" under Forscan SCCM (with the naming system - not "as built") and choose enable. It works fine. Not sure if others may come across this as well.
Which wiper stalk do you have? Does yours show the “auto” icon? I have a ‘21 also, but cannot get this to work after making the necessary Forscan changes. I don’t think I’m getting voltage at the plug behind the mirror, I need to check that next and I guess order the harness.

Was finally able to find some time for Forscan this morning and I am happy to report that I now have rain sensing wipers. For those looking to use easy mode, search for "rain" or "wipe" in each of the modules that @Rineland mentioned and you will see the values that need to be changed. Also, prior to testing, make sure your wipers are set between the one and three raindrop positions on the wiper stalk (I used three which is the most sensitive).

One of the pins is ground on the plug, if I had to guess, black is ground, blue is probably the LIN signal, green would be 12V. I checked mine with the ignition on, engine running.
If you make the Forscan changes, the option will appear in the vehicle settings menu under wipers.

I received the wiring harness from infotainment.com and everything is working perfectly. Re activated the SCCM change and no DTC!
Tested it with a hose and works great!
Thanks Jesse!
