This is another option. This will let you turn that feature on and off easily and anywhere. Not cheap but it does offer a lot of functionality if you are looking for this option.

And the ultimate option. The 2025 PowerBoost does not double honk when you exit the vehicle still running.

Maybe I misunderstand how it works.
The way I get it to work is to start the truck and then go in the menu and turn on generator mode.
But then I have to exit the truck with the key and it will honk. Really not quiet.
Maybe I can lock with the keypad but leaving the truck running with the key in seems like a bad plan.

Defeating the double honk with FORScan is probably the best, permanent solution because you don’t have to think about it going forward. But you can also avoid the double honk by exiting the truck with the engine running, holding the fob against the rear passenger glass, and then shutting the driver’s door. It works, but you have to remember to do it.

I'm guessing it requires a server side setting to render in FordPass and they had a reason to do some quick short term testing. Of course it's not possible to predict when it will return as an official object in the UI, but I personally think it's evidence that it's coming.

I just hope it has more meat on the bone when it does.

Yeah, I'm pretty convinced it is server side as I had it briefly with the last iOS beta version I had and then it disappeared before the next version deployed.

And your last point is spot on. Fingers crossed . . .

Dang I think ford cought up with me. I stopped all updates from 4.32.1. Other than the nag to update when opening i maintained the features that ford removed.
Today ford pass still nagged me but now wants me to log in.
When pressing the log in button nothing happens. I cant get the login button to do anything.
Am I now going to be forced to update?
Or can I go to get a apk and install that?
I hate no zone lighting and how ford does the pro power display.
I rely on seeing both sides of the 240v wattage.
Have they fixed it in recent times?

You can hunt for the 4.32.1 Ford Pass APK and side load it on Android. It will bug you that it an update is required but you can bypass the notice and still use all the functions.

Hey Jeff, My suspicion is that the server for the old App is no longer in service and so you cannot login. As far as the current (new) App, you will be disappointed that neither PPoB or Zone LIghting is implemented.
