I’m a fan of asking dumb questions so here goes. What precisely is your goal and point? This isn’t Ford’s customer service or complaint department. We aren’t your dealer. You haven’t asked for help, assistance, input, or even sympathy.

We get it. You don’t like your truck. You have your reasons real or imagined. We aren’t going to convince you otherwise and I don’t care to try. You aren’t going to change our minds either.

So…. what’s your point? Venting? Looking for validation of your feelings on the subject?

Seems a strange hobby but to each their own

I've been at this too long to be fooled into thinking first time posting / complainers represent a majority. 99% of owners don't know this place exists and 95% of people only post when something is wrong. A few dozen complaints vs 10s of thousands of sales isn't scary. The only thing that caught my attention is the ~12 2023s that had the same issue pop up. I do understand statistics though, so perhaps that's preventing the lack of unwarranted concern.

For context, a ~1.9% wiper failure rate prompted a recall. Nobody is losing sleep over it. There's a possibility the contactors on my EV can weld closed and need replaced. As such I beat the shit out of the car trying to get it to fail.

Just curious, but which of the issues you listed are Powerboost specific? Every single one of them can affect every F-150 based on what I know. Also, a competent dealer could fix half of what you have listed there (software/firmware issues). Ford corporate has all the literature out there for dealers to address nearly all software issues, but technicians either aren't trained or can't be bothered to read and follow the instructions.

Also, just because you don't want to be bothered with helping yourself in getting problems fixed doesn't mean every Powerboost truck is bad. Mine has been great for me since I got it ~2 years ago and has exceeded my expectations for a pickup. I'm sure you can find many more users here with that experience as well, and probably more that are relatively happy with their hybrid trucks than not.

I've been driving Ford trucks since 1974. My dad and grandpa had both Chevy and Ford trucks while I was growing up.

My 2 years driving Powerboost F150's have been trouble free and I'm STILL amazed and enamored with it every time I drive it. It's like a science fiction truck compared to my 2012 that I still have.

I'm not naive though. My axle bolt could shear tomorrow. Or my exhaust heat exchanger could spring a leak. Neither would even make me flinch regarding the truck itself. I WOULD be a bit concerned letting a yahoo at a dealership touch it though. :)

Why are you still here? To annoy the rest of us? I notice you still list owning a 2022 Ford XLT. Why? If it as big a POS as you claim it to be, why still own it. Life is way too short for me to keep any POS vehicle that that causes as much grief as you claim yours does. Get rid of your truck so you will have some personal peace.

Why don't you get rid of your Ford, get a different brand truck, and get some peace in your life.

OK let’s clear one thing up, it’s quantum mechanics, not quantam mathematics, which doesn’t exist.
45,000 miles 28 months on my PB not one significant issue. I regularly tow 7000 lbs loaded with no issues. 900 miles a day in the king ranch is almost effortless. Something tells me I’m in the vast majority.

It's the powerboosts fault. Out trucks make it easy to haul troll food around and widely distribute it.
