Powerboost - Totally Dead

ok, truck was at dealer for a couple weeks and finally have a "resolution". I just bought this truck used from said dealer in June with 71k miles on it. Drove it without issues for 3 months and 7k miles before this happened.


After all their testing, etc. They came back with;

1 - Wired improperly. Main battery was wired to the Power Steering fuse vs. to the power in block.
2 - Power Steering fuse was blown.

$350 later - they say it's fixed. I said thanks, let's trade this thing in.

So they say it's fixed, it did start, but going forward will be someone else's issue.

Wanted to complete the tread in case others have similar issues.

Very odd, You should have just got the terminals moved around and it'd be done. Curious how it ended up this way and if they actually wired it properly.

Probably one of those "pros" that'd choose the 5.0.

Sounds like some work got done and just not assembled correctly. All those wires are more or less in the same area.
