In my opinion, dash or 5,000 miles (whichever indicates an oil change is needed first). If I am lazy, I never go over 6,000 miles. My last oil change was about 5,500 miles and I was at 31% on the Oil Life Monitoring System. I do my own changes and use Mobil 1 Full Synthetic with a motorcraft FL-500S oil filter.

Mileage as in my spreadsheet does just fine. For the most part I use oil analysis to drive changes. I find TBN & Boron additive depletion seem to be the predominant reason to change

I change it when the sticker on the window says to. I have absolutely zero trust in the trucks oil life gauge built into the dash. Ford doesn't care if my engine blows up at 61,000 miles.

I put the sticker on the dash. It says 3,000 miles from when I changed the oil.

All I know is that 3.5 EB turbos LOVE clean oil. I try to feed them clean oil every ~4000 miles. That recommendation came from a very good friend who was a Ford dealer mechanic for 38 years. I use the trip odometer for my "memory" of when the next change is needed. Just my $.02.
Thats a great idea to use the trip as a way to remember how long since your last oil change.

It blows my mind how far alot of guys will push oil changes on these extremely expensive and intricate engines that rely so heavily on the oil. I might spend a few more bucks putting the good (not walmart) royal purple in every 3k miles. But I tell you what my turbos and engine will look much newer after alot of miles than if I used cheap Walmart oil and did it on extended intervals. Wife's ecoboost has 123k miles now and has only ever had RP HPS in it. Runs like new, burns no oil, no engine issues whatsoever. To each their own. I like to take immaculate care of my equipment.

and the folks who put the sticker in place only care about draining your wallet. not sure why you think they know better.

I fix software bugs!
I’m not that clever. I just change it every 5K miles. I’m at 23900 miles and I know I have 1100 miles to go, simple.

I change at <5k
I use the best synthetic oil I can
Microgard Select filter
The microgard select is a great filter I always used Fl-500 but switched to them a year ago. I use Pennzoil ultra platinum it is rated very high. I am always changing by months not miles as I don't drive a lot.
