I'm pretty sure V5 Build # 5.0.0 is the final and complete version of FordPass. It's complete. They're done. Everybody went home and are now waiting on VW to hire them to work on their software now. ??

It appears Ford kept 1 fella or gal and he/she worked last night to recompile the Android build. Just to make a liar out of me? ?

I hope they got some sleep today.

Ah ha, so they didn't all defect to V Dubs. @powerboatr loaded this last night and his Explorer is now online as far as location goes. ?

On the "other" forum somebody mentioned the X.0.1 compile was to address location services bugs.

Since they crippled V4, figured no loss to download and update to V5.0.1..

Very little reason to bother.

It does what it says and fixes location. More accurate than any Ford OTA update notes.

I’m curious when we would ever use those features remotely via phone? The location was Dearborn for me most of the time before and google is fairly ubiquitous. I love grabbing my pitchfork as much as the next guy but I just used the slide and my truck started ??‍

I used zone lighting couple times. I'm not sure if it worked over cellular or Bluetooth though. I couldn't get it to work from distance standing inside but it worked within 50 ft of truck. ?

Zone lighting with phone, perfect for when you're camping. I'm sure I would have used it this summer. Trailer light check. Used it the day before the app updated and any time I hooked up to a trailer. Don't have a powerboost so wouldn't use that.

Hey! Before this major FordPass app upgrade on my Android, I could pull up my ESP details. After this app update, it seems to no longer be linked. I have verified that my full name and address matches in all Ford web sites and on my Ford Pass app. Anyone have any thoughts? Did I miss a thread on this? I do have my ESP PDF so I can at least look at the dates that way.

I think Ford flipped it so trailer wiring/connection check is done exclusively on the trucks screen now. I suppose it was duplication so they ditched the valued feature.
