Zeigler has an online discount code. It’s “PAYINFULL”.I am shopping for ESP for my 2023 and excluding Granger because of this thread alone.
Wow... but I will says that your case was handled faster than my lemon law case with Dodge- which took 2 yrs. They do just try to wear you down so you give up and trade it in or sell it to Carvana. At least you are getting an extended warranty (that hopefully covers paint since the whole truck is repainted!) Still, such a bad experience on such an expensive purchase.I finally heard back from Ford customer service.
My rep told me that I was authorized a Ford rental at $60 per day while the truck was at the body shop. The truck was at the shop for 89 days. Once the refund was submitted, Ford only approved $40 per day for a total of 37 days ($1480). Th body shop contacted Granger for payment while they were working on it and the work order was closed out (at 37 days). My customer service rep stated that my request was escalated to the executive level for approval. The Ford case manager notes on the case stated that I kept the rental for 52 days after I picked up my truck. That wasn’t true, so my rep requested that they reevaluate the claim, but it was denied. In the end Granger sent me a check for the cost of the rental and I received it yesterday. I dropped the truck back off at the body shop yesterday afternoon to have the issues fixed. The painter came out to go over it with me and said that he’d have the sags in the clear buffed out pretty quick and that he’d repaint the driver’s side rear door. My Ford customer service rep sent me an email yesterday stating that she’d call me last night before she left work, but another person called me and stated that she was out sick all day. I’ve learned that the customer service reps for Ford often lie. Since February 7, every time that I’ve tried to contact the lady that I’ve been dealing with another rep would tell me that she’s on another call. The last time that I spoke with her she stated that she was actually out of the office with some medical issues for weeks. She apologized for everything and said that she’s never had a case drag out this long. She also stated that she could add an extended warranty to the truck.
Are you fawking kidding us? Please share what you can...So….Ford contacted me this week and offered to buy the truck back. I wish that they would have done this sooner.
Unbelievable, what was the reason after this has gone on for so long? So….Ford contacted me this week and offered to buy the truck back. I wish that they would have done this sooner.
This should have been the only option that you ever had. It is absurd what they forced you to go through with a damaged brand new truck! So….Ford contacted me this week and offered to buy the truck back. I wish that they would have done this sooner.
I spoke with my Ford customer service rep the week prior and I told her that the truck should have been bought back to begin with. She told me that should could submit another buyback request so I told her to go ahead and do it. A lady from Ford reacquired vehicle headquarters contacted me and stated that I have two options:Unbelievable, what was the reason after this has gone on for so long?
You finally got someone who could make it right for you. Happy to hear!I spoke with my Ford customer service rep the week prior and I told her that the truck should have been bought back to begin with. She told me that should could submit another buyback request so I told her to go ahead and do it. A lady from Ford reacquired vehicle headquarters contacted me and stated that I have two options:
1. Ford buys the truck back and I get a special offer discount that can be combined with all available offers that apply to the truck and my area.
2. I can keep the truck and receive a settlement.
