How are you guys getting these prices? Do they vary that much by state? I am in IL and my price from Flood (same as Granger but I won't buy from them) was 2800 for 100K miles and 10 years. I also added the lights option for an additional $70.
I have started putting the parts together for the swap on my 2023 XLT 302a. Just wanted to ask for some group wisdom. I can get my hands on Lariat side mirrors taken off a 2021 truck. Are they going to work on a 2023? My guess would be yes, but thought I'd check with the gang here.
The app is now in beta at best. Why on earth did they remove the trailer lights check? Did it occur to them people might be using the trucks to do truck things or nah?
All done. Took a day. Dealer said they took the truck to the body shop first to remove the windshield and then a local glass company came out to reposition and re-glue.
Happy they didn't break it :D Looks good.
That's my concern too. I have had it through a wash a bunch of times, and no trouble so far. Not sure what to do. The language in the letter tells me Ford really wants to do this, possibly because of some customer lawyering up.
For the record, my build date was about November 22.
Anyone else get one of these notifications? I got one last night. Called my dealer today. They weren't aware of it and had to look it up. I did schedule an appointment but am not sure I'll go yet. Thinking of waiting on more details. Or should I?
Issue got fixed for me after a visit to the dealer. Updated automatically? Not sure how because they didn't do an update. I was visiting to have mud flaps installed. Perhaps just a coincidence.
I got it today. I was visiting the dealer for a different issue and it just updated. Perhaps a coincidence, or my truck knew how to connect to the dealer WiFi? In any case it also fixed my FordPass connectivity issue, so win-win.
Yes, around that time but can't verify because I removed the truck from the app, and now can't add it back. Activation fails repeatedly, so I am stuck.
Not sure how they are going to push the update if the TCU is down.
Mine stopped working on March 3. Ford tells me they will be issuing a fix by the end of April. I am mildly annoyed. Not trade-in for a Tundra annoyed but come one, Ford get your act together!
