Latest update on my situation. I checked for updates and once those were installed the FoF Liquid Crystal installed completely. It (strongly recommended" that I recalibrate so I attempted to do that. Unfortunately, it never moves past 0% while I drive. I then tried installing the version 16 of Tomb Raider which also installed but wouldn't calibrate past 0% either. In frustration in installed the default model, Tomb Raider 14 and it won't calibrate either? I'm thinking at this point I need to reset my Comma 3X and uninstall SunnyPilot and start from scratch again?

This is the first time sunnypilot has ever made a change that broke BluePilot, so it's new territory for us. You came onboard on a bumpy day.

Thank you, much appreciated.
I undid my last commit, you might be able to reinstall and drive on the default model until we get the model fetcher fixed. It won't be awesome, but at least you can hopefully calibrate and start to get a feel for OpenPilot. Expect the lateral control (steering) to be buggy, especially at low speeds.

Will this change break anything for those of us already up and running on FoF? Gotta 800 mile drive tomorrow.
I don't think so. Just don't touch the model fetcher.

If you get tired of waiting, you can install 2.1, it will not be affected by this.

If anyone is stuck with not being able to calibrate because of the broken model fetcher. You can uninstall and reinstall, and it will work on Tomb Raider. You'll be stuck there until we can resolve the issue.

Thanks @Ajzride, I was able to reinstall the bp-4.0 with Tomb Raider 14 and it's working, I'm not getting the calibration issue.

I'm just waiting on some custom parts from China, then I'll start selling my updated dock. Probably another 7-10 days. I will eventually post these on thingiverse as open source, but I need to sell a few first to recoup the development cost. It's crazy how much I spent on different USB couplers and cables to find something that worked.

Upgrades from my old version:

-- All cables and adapters included
-- 15mm lower profile
-- Short USB-C cable is mostly hidden inside the dock, no longer exposed to get snagged or damaged by hands
-- Tapered rails to help getting the front fed into the rails easier
-- Eliminated the 180 degree coupler which was the least reliable part to source
-- Reworked the actual connection to the comma. New design is easier to slide on, but fits more snuggly. integrated "ramps"make the fit tighter as the device is pushed onto the hooks.
-- Embossed arrow on the base to clearly identify where to center the dock
-- Screw together instead of glue together. Easy to replace the cable or coupler if they fail.
-- Galaxy Black ASA.

@NSBFLORIDA I think the model switcher is fixed. You can check for updates in the software menu and see if things are working now.

So I’m guessing this is a Sunnypilot thing but I noticed the stats don’t seem to be capturing my drives. Kinda hard to see but shows only 146 miles. I did 300 the other day and 500 today.

The data comes from the server, not the device. You "connect offline" means it's not reporting back to the server. Once you get on wifi for a few hours it will sync up.

If you go too long between wifi syncs, it might have overwritten data that will never make it to the server. Generally the comma holds about 4 hours of data.

Gotcha, that makes sense. I’ve been avoiding WiFi due to the Sunny update and won’t be back for a few thousand miles.

I drove from Dallas to ABQ today and it performed like a dream. Only had to take control a few times the whole drive on really sharp turns, but that was probably more a function of my speed than the curve.

Yea, I'm assuming you are running 80-90mph (at least) on that stretch. You run into the ford safety limits pretty quick at those speeds.
