1. LT265/70R18 OWL All-Terrain tires, which matches the window sticker. No reprogramming necessary.
2. Conservative to the point of boring.
3. 50# right now at 50 degrees. The pressure on the door sticker says 48#, front and rear.
4. 55K
I am assuming that you have a clean air filter and given that, I would have someone check it out.

HDPP comes with LT tires.
What OP didn't mention is that he likely has FX4 package as well, known for coming with the Generals.

Merely guessing now on OP's actual specs.

No guessing needed. He has the HDPP which is the only package that comes with the LT tires confirmed by the door sticker. FX4 adds the skid plates and hill descent button. Those don't change the MPG. I'm running 34" LT (E) tires and didn't take a hit on mileage despite having heavier tires and a larger diameter.

I have 4WD but not FX4. I bought it used but that's how I would have ordered it. I don't need the skid plate and prefer to maximize the payload.

Downhill, at 25 mph, with a tailwind? No, not impressive. A useless response with little value? yep

That number might be impressive after a tank of gas and a few hundred miles but over a 7 mile trip that's a false assumption of average fuel mileage. You should be seeing 16-20mpg for tank averages unless you are towing with your 3.5eb. Do some hand calculations before trusting the digitals on your dash or people on forums.

I don't think Ford uses General as an OEM supplier. Hancook tires were very common. Michelin on some of the very expensive editions. Anytime you switch out of OEM, MPG suffers unless you are very smart or lucky. Winter gas doesn't help either.
Generals are (2022 at least) the OEM when LT tire option was selected. Its what tire i got from Ford. All 5 of them. Big Reason why i checked the box.....requires LT for spare so you get 5 of the same tire.

You guys are hard to impressed.

Now that's impressive.

Best I've done is 25.8 over 496 miles. That followed 24.0 over 456 miles. All driven on the same day. Not bad for a coyote powered truck packed full of household stuff.

My 2014 EcoBoost averaged 18.2 mpg, my 2023 EcoBoost is averaging 19.1 mpg under the same driving conditions.

Mine has a 3.73 rear end which may penalize me a little. It's stock in every respect.

I was expecting at least 16 MPG. I seems like something's off but it drives beautifully. I have no idea what I can do about it.

If the previous owner added a performance tune that costs me in fuel efficiency, how could I tell?
Just chiming in with my experience with a 2022 Maxtow - HDPP with the OEM General tires. Its a supercrew with 6.5 box. with a 50-50 mix of city and highway with and without trailers from 2000lbs to 10000lbs with my tractor. have averaged 14.3 litre per 100KM since new based on trip computer . Not very far off from my own calculation when im not to lazy to check it myself. thast about 16-17mpg mixed. not bad at all . i used to get the same from my 2010 ford escape... with a heavy foot and some trailers at 2000-3000lbs .
