Did you copy over your asbuilt SCCM from the old to the new? Might check the auto sense address and make sure it is enabled on the SCCM.
yes, that was the first thing I did was load the original SCCM programming and then adjust the heated steering wheel part. I’m starting to wonder if there are hardware differences.

Huh, I wouldn't think so as there has only been one Performance version SCCM really with heated wheel and it says in the description automatic wipers. Since you have a relatively newer truck, I wonder if there is a software version issue with the -HB you got?

I have the same issue with my temp dials, but I haven’t done the heated steering wheel yet. I thought maybe it was because I got the temp dials with the heated steering wheel button, but don’t have a heated wheel yet. I haven’t even checked to see if my 22’ Lariat is prewired or not yet.
Yeah, it’s quite odd. It’s not making a DTC indicator or check engine light come on, and as far as I’ve been able to tell, it’s programmed properly with the ASBUILT values from my original HVAC module. Everything works properly, also. Might just end up having to live with it.

Have you looked to make sure rain sensing wipers are turned on in the guest profile in SYNC, as well as your profile? For some reason they won’t work if they are turned off in the guest profile. I had this issue when I bought my truck. It’s a glitch in the software that Ford hasn’t fixed.

Only other thing I can think of would be to check the rain sensor to make sure it hasn’t popped loose.

the OEM way you won't want to follow, just push the wire behind the dash and fish it through.

If you have FDRS or someone around you that does, run a PMI on the SCCM and then flip the HSW setting again. This procedure is fast, not sure if you have a decent dealer around you that bills by the 1/4 hour for 5 minutes of work. If you can access the bays directly, might slip $20 to a tech to do it.

Yeah, but $550 to 600 just to PMI an SCCM? Find a way into the shop and a tech that wants to make a quick $20 cash ;)
I have always suffered from the MAW's (might as wells) leading to a garage full of parts that i have yet to install on several vehicles from 68 to 21... :ROFLMAO:

You nailed it on the head! That was it. Thanks for your help, I was pulling my hair out on this one.

Regarding Sync guest profiles, are these only applicable if your truck has memory settings for different drivers?

So it could be something I missed earlier on, but would I absolutely need to order a new steering wheel bolt? I got my lariat heated wheel today so I just need to get the SCCM and possibly the harness (assuming my ‘21 302a isn’t pre wired which I’m not anticipating it is) as far as the hvac control, that’s in the future I’ll just use the climate bar on screen. I just want to clarify if I need the bolt or not since I’ve seen others purchase it

No bolt required. There's a few degrees of play possible in the wheel and you may have to loosen it some and turn the wheel to get it back straight. When I put in my wheel I had to adjust it so on the first drive you may consider leaving the airbag off to make sure you're tracking straight / level with the wheel. Don't connect the bag up with the vehicle on, or sitting in the seat.
