my mud flaps came in 2 boxes that big a few weeks back...i guess they get paid by the cubic foot

They must be all over the place with boxes. My mudflaps shipped in separate boxes (front and rear) that were each about the size of the middle, ford performance box these tow hooks came in. And both were so crushed all to hell I was worried about the hardware falling out, of the unsealed bags inside... I guess I'll find out when I finally get the time to wash the truck and install them

They should put labels on all boxes so as they fall apart in shipping you get a good box in the end.
