I use it enough that $600 for a few years is fine with me. A bonus is that I’m too cheap to pay and not use it for the full term and it would prevent me from getting a new truck for the length of the term- most likely save me money in the long run.

only catch is I would need 1.3 installed and working before I put the money up for it.

It would make sense for Ford to push it to every truck capable of running it so they can start getting that subscription money they want.

Not sure if there is a hardware difference 21 vs 22+ that is the issue, or if someone just decided it isn't worth it. Many of the 21 trucks based on the few that come here to complain have never had BC work at all. That could be the determining factor and only rolling it out to trucks that left factory with it working.

This is the only thing keeping me from adding back Active Park Assist to my '23. I've already got the correct IPMA, but don't want to risk not getting future updates or losing BlueCruise.

They do not. Only certain Mach E's have BC 1.3 thus far.

If it was as simple as sideloading IPMA, I am sure some of the geniuses here would have BC 1.3 on their trucks already. Maybe they do and haven't said anything. It is no secret we can get BC 1.2 on our trucks, but I don't think anyone has done BC 1.3 yet.

Even if they did the software is completely different. 23 IPMA has different software for each engine option.

6.13.0 just dropped for the Mach E. Driver facing camera it says. Trying to het the VIN to see what module(s) get updated. 2022 Mace E, too.....not the ones that have BC 1.3 built in.
