No one knows...

It would make sense for Ford to push it to every truck capable of running it so they can start getting that subscription money they want.

Not sure if there is a hardware difference 21 vs 22+ that is the issue, or if someone just decided it isn't worth it. Many of the 21 trucks based on the few that come here to complain have never had BC work at all. That could be the determining factor and only rolling it out to trucks that left factory with it working.

Thanks. Got 24 days to decide to bite on the 3yr offer. Will probably get if my '21 Job 1 King Ranch continues to get BC improvements. 6.4.0 updated via OTA yesterday.

The only thing most people here care about is the IPMA update for the older trucks to get the turn signal cameras. I still think that will happen even without getting BC 1.3 but I could be wrong.

No one here is going to pay the ridiculous BC 1.3 subscription fee to use it.

There's been a discount going around at $600 for 3 years. That price entices me if 1.3 is in the future for my truck. The $2100 or whatever number they want to charge, not so much.

That number being low is why thoughts are that BC 1.3 is not an option and you get the lesser quality version for less money.

If I had confirmation my truck would be updated to 1.3 I would probably pay the $600.

I also haven't seen anywhere that the renewal offer expires so maybe I'll just wait a while.

There is an expiration for people that have received the offer. Just read somewhere that someone had until the end of the year and someone else had about 2 weeks.

I had the TSB performed on my truck to get bluecruise working and now mine doesnt expire until 08/2024. Hoping there will still be a discount offered then, especially if BC 1.3 comes to us ?

Ugh. I feel like I haven't gotten an OTA update in a long time. Ford Pass says my last change was the stupid digital manual download on 9/20. Doubt when this gets pushed out I will have the infrastructure for it.

I went ahead and signed up for another 3 years of BC for my Job 1 '21. BC in my truck has performed fairly well. It doesn't ping pong and stays within a few inches of dead center in the lane. OTA's for my truck have been regular and trouble free except for the blank rev glitch about 18 months ago but the dealer got BC working. I got 6.4 last night. I have been pleased that Ford is still pushing updates to my 3-year-old truck but I'm well aware others have not had the same experience. I figured I'd use BC enough in the next 3 years to justify having it but everyone's cost vs. value for BC is different.
BTW-They won't charge your card until the end of your free trial period.

My truck was built in December 2020 and I took delivery 1/29/21. The truck had Blue Cruise enabled and activated in March 2022 (Early Access Program). My trial period expires 12/31/2023, and the only renewal options shown under Connected Services are either $75 per month or $800 per year. I have not gotten one of the emails with the 3 years for $600 offer. I would still consider renewing if my truck were to get the Blue Cruise 1.3 update but would have difficulty justifying if not.

I didn't see any expiration date for the $600 offer so I think you can wait if you want. I have a trip scheduled in mid-January so I don't want it to expire on the 1st.
