To anyone getting 6.3.0 now: Is your touchscreen asking for permission to install this OTA, or it is going through on it's own? @zacko11288 got it and it asked him for consent to install the OTA.

Downloaded automatically on my drive home from Florida to Georgia on 12/01
Only change noticed was the time & temperature font was different and my XM took a few minutes to reset itself / confirm subscription and start playing again.

Got 6.4.0 automatically on my drive to work on 12/04

Still waiting for 6.5.0 but haven driven the truck

I also caught my doing exactly the same thing. It took a long while but it did finally download completely and I got the update on Fordpass. My sync version changed as a result of the this PU release of 6.2. I haven't noticed any real changes

Did you keep your truck running the entire time? If so, how long did it take?

I had to turn my truck off and catch a train, so who knows if it kept going or not.

In terms of your Time and Temp, the description did mention that the info bar font was going to change to allow for more space...or something like that.

I had to turn my truck off and catch a train, so who knows if it kept going or not.

It started Monday night - or at least that is when I caught it downloading by hitting the update button. I kept the truck running for 10min but I had to shut it off. Tuesday morning when I started it up to go to work it was still "downloading". Took the long way to work in hopes it would finish. Nope. When I shut it off said it was still downloading. Went into work and an HR later got Fordpass notification that it downloaded. So I don't think there is much to take from any of this other than it will download when it wants to.

After 6.3.0 installed on mine on the 11/30, on two or three instances after the install, each time I drove the truck and parked I was getting a pop-up notification that a scheduled install was going to install at my set time. This seemed to be a phantom message as it did not do anything. Since receiving 6.4.0 on 12/5 the phantom pop-up message has not happened again and seems to have disappeared.

Well, you already know I got nothing. From 6.2.0 to 6.3.0 to 6.4.0 without any indication other than turning off cellular when 6.4.0 was downloading. I see that often with updates so the diagnostic icons are useful to keep on screen.

The only thing I can tell is the ones saying it looks different have climate stuff on the screen. I do not have any of that in my 21 and nothing changed with the look of anything. ?‍

Yes, I agree, the 21's without dual zone climate on the display seem to look the same after the update. Lol the font on the hvav temperature control knobs didn't change. ?

I caught my truck in the act today. My Nav screen sort of went super bright and then went a bit dimmer....no idea if it was related, so when I got to my destination, I decided to check on the Software Updates app and saw the screen below. Unfortunately, I couldn't sit there with the truck running....hopefully it will finish today.

The truck did update itself while I was gone yesterday, and the full update of 6.2.0 has happened.

All appeared to work fine, even XM radio, and as others have stated, when I turned the truck off the rear occupancy "alarm" sounded. I hope that it's the only one of my settings they decided to change.

Your screen has a number of differences from mine.

Top Menu: I do not have the 5 Icons that start with "ECG" and go towards the blue circle.

Bottom Menu: I do not have a button for Zone Lighting.

Did these change with any update, or were yours always like this?

My Screen....

Top icons are debug icons that some of us geeks like to turn on. Doesn't do anything special other than tell you status of a few modules.

Bottom is the favorite button you have on your screen. You can set that to be a shortcut to a variety of things. I believe you tap and hold to set it.

They also have screen set to dark mode, which in prior versions for reasons unknown was less buggy. It also looks better to my eyes so I keep it on dark as well. Not sure if light mode is still buggy on current versions.
