Dash went crazy tonight like it does when it's trying to grab an update but nothing new showing on screen. Might just be finalizing 6.2.0. ?

Interesting, I had the same problem and also thought my cable wasn’t seating properly or something.I was trying to change settings in forscan. The adaptor with not connect to the truck. I was getting a message about a custom tune. I went for a drive then it update to 6.2.0. After that I had not more issues connecting with forscan. It was wierd I thought my cable was bad.
Agreed @Tomatoboy but I think its really how software engineering works anywhere. See these examples.Another update making small adjustments getting me ready for the bigger updates to come? Nice. I like to think of it as the update that opens the door for all the others to walk through.
(Ford, seriously, y’all need to work on your release notes)
You can try the old school reboot.Interesting, I had the same problem and also thought my cable wasn’t seating properly or something.
The other issue I’m having since the update is Ford Pass is reporting my truck’s location as Dearborn, MI.
I've noticed the same thing, the truck changes to "My View" after being parked. Although isn't doesn't always end in an OTA, I'm pretty certain some interaction has happened between the truck and the cloud. I've also noticed on occasion that the parking brake is applied on start, yet I never set it on exit.My typical "tell" that an update has happened is to see the "MyView" menu show up unexpectedly. I always have "This Trip" selected, but if I see the screen change back to the top of the "MyView" menu, I know something got reset. (2021 King Ranch PB) Checking the FordPass app, sure enough 6.2.0 was installed.
Now FordPass says, "WHAT'S IN THIS UPDATE? We're unable to retrieve update details right now. Please check in-vehicle for the details or try again later."
The truck shows 6.2.0
My parking brake sets automatically if I park on an incline. If I park on level ground, it does not. I suspect that was added as a new feature via some update. I don't recall it doing that when the truck was new.... I've also noticed on occasion that the parking brake is applied on start, yet I never set it on exit.
The UI may not give the explanation, but in case of Microsoft that KB # lets you find out more, and I’m sure Google and HP have release notes *somewhere* from experience. Ford doesn’t even bury the release notes on some support page somewhere, they just never give them, ever.Agreed @Tomatoboy but I think its really how software engineering works anywhere. See these examples.

I too am having the issue of showing truck in Dearborn, MI after 6.2.0 update last Friday. I have tried uninstall reinstall of Fordpass with no success, I have not tried unhooking the battery yet but may give it a try.Interesting, I had the same problem and also thought my cable wasn’t seating properly or something.

For your record keeping chart, 6.1.0 is a GWM update, so no way that could have given you a different Sync version. 23-PU0724 is the APIM update that gave you Sync 23159.I got 6.1.0 on 10/26 and then 6.2.0 this morning 10/31. No apparent changes to how my truck behaves with either of 'em. FordPass is showing my truck location correctly.
My OTA updates history, just FYI:

I've not encountered any problems with any of these updates ( knock on wood?)
