Ford Power-Up 6.2.0

Not sure if it was 6.1 or 6.2 but I did notice the following. When using adaptive cruise control(ACC), the truck would perform a hard break when a vehicle cut in front of me. Often times, I found myself deactivating the cruise control to avoid the jerk. Today, I was driving on the freeway under heavy traffic conditions with ACC enabled. Sure enough, somebody cut in front of me but this time, the truck simply disengaged the accelerator in an attempt to reestablish a safe distance. Which in my opinion, resembles what I would do rather than immediately hitting the breaks. The previous behavior was not only strange but unsafe for me and the drivers behind me. I’ll test again tomorrow but if this was the change then I will say it was a much needs improvement.

I doubt changes to the GWM would cause that change in behavior.

I know what you mean though I've had the same issue with people cutting in on me. My solution was to reduce the following distance to vehicle ahead of me. The default setting is far too generous and people feel the need to cut in.

Both were GWM gateway module updates. 6.1.0 brought your software to ML3T-14H021-PAE
and 6.2.0 moved you to ML3T-14H021-PAF in the GWM

How do you know the GWM module was updated? Where can we find that information? Was that the only module that was modified? Thanks!

@fordtruckman2003 pretty much answered it there. Rugdraw can actually check you trucks update status from the Ford cloud side of things and see what was updated. ?

6.1.0 and 6.2.0 seem to be getting pushed aggressively.

Hopefully we will see the same for 6.3+ updates.

I got 6.2.0 on Thursday with no notification on the truck's display. I did get a notification in Ford Pass.

I never saw any notification of 6.1.0, but I do not have Blue Cruise.

Funny thing over 16 hours after truck installed the update I still don't have message on FordPass. It only shows successful install on the main screen with remote start button.

Thank you for looking. I have two Ford Pass notifications about 4.3.6, but none about 6.1.0. LOL

got 6.1 thursday and 6.2 this morning around 1 am. I do not get notifications on my screen anymore. But glad to see I am getting stuff left and right

I think that Ford used some 5.x.x update numbers for the Mach-E. I can only guess that there numbering system spans their entire product line. and isn't necessarily a 1,2,3 kind of thing for each vehicle. ?

Changing the first number on an update universally means a big change. Yet here it sounds like no real change.
