Ford Power-Up 6.2.0

I got 6.2.0 on Thursday with no notification on the truck's display. I did get a notification in Ford Pass.

I never saw any notification of 6.1.0, but I do not have Blue Cruise.

Interesting. I got notice via my truck it had received 6.2.0. Didn't give the date. For the first time, Ford Pass did not give me notice.

So the new trick to getting updates is to be low on washer fluid.

I grabbed a gallon of washer fluid yesterday to address the alert on the dash and FordPass. When I opened the hood, all I could see was the resovoir cap and neck. I was amazed it swallowed the gallon!

Down hidden in the belly of the truck is a much larger vessel than I imagined.

@rugedraw I don't know if this is news to you or not. I just ran across this on Ford's site, SSM 51893 from August of 23. It might explain why they are pushing this 6.1.0 / 6.2.0 GWM so aggressively.

I always keep my eye on PTS for any kind of bulleting Ford releases, so I knew about it. The first reportings of 6.1.0/6.2.0 in early October and this SSM being release in late August perhaps does tie this OTA with that SSM.

Received the 6.2 update a few weeks back and the ford pass said it was successful.. now i have been seeing a new update on the truck saying you are scheduled to receive this update tomorrow at 1:00 am.. anyone know how to clear this out or really know if the update was installed?

I’ve had that happen twice now. It seems to come by every 5-7 days.

PTS does show 6.2.0 installed successfully on 10/31. What's interesting is that IPC update that is showing for you in the list @C. Mays provided.
