Have been following the threads regarding skid plates after the ole fiber board cover disintegrated on my ‘21 Powerboost. Ordered all the parts and the skid plate listed from these threads. Waited about 6 weeks and all I received was a package of bolts. Received an email notification a short time later stating my order had been delivered. Nope! After contacting customer service, an automated email was sent back stating an authorization was needed for a refund or replacement. So I got on the phone and called and have not been able to get through to an actual live talking person. I don’t want a refund. I want my parts! Terribly disappointed in this company. Have had to contact an attorney to file a claim in claims court to try and resolve the issue. So now we wait.

Just file a dispute with your credit card or if you used PayPal, goto them and file a dispute. No need to pay an attorney and be out more money and time.

For official Ford parts, I've always gone through the dealer's parts department. It costs the same, but I have them to ensure that I get the right parts (and in good condition).

Fords distribution centers are almost non-stop. I find it hard to believe it took 6 weeks to get you some bolts. Are you sure you purchased directly from FordParts.com?

Also as others have said, the attorney thing seems way over the top.
He ordered from FordpartsGiant. If you didnt know about the website the title would be easy to over look.

Yup, I gave up on all the third party, cheaper parts sites. The money you save isn't worth it in the long run. Half the time they can't get the part you want, and if they can, it takes 2-6 weeks to send it to you. If I order straight from fordparts through my local dealer, if its in stock, it'll be in my hands in 48 hours or less.

TascaParts have been well meaning and trying to locate things for me, but occasionally coming up empty, but they've been communicating well and trying, and they've been honest and ethical.

FordPartsGiant has cancelled one order AFTER A WEEK claiming they couldn't get the item, my dealer will have it here Tuesday. Now they're asking for more shipping on one item five days after I paid (I told them to pound sand and that I'd file a complaint with the CA AG for bait and switch). Been buying from them since 2003, they are on the black list now.

Levittown Ford Parts have been responsive and helpful.

My tonneau I ended up just ordering from the dealer, I couldn't deal with this monkeying around any more.

Wanted to bring this back up because I also had a terrible experience with these guys. Their fraudsters. I had to call my CC to dispute. Stay away from Ford parts giant.

Yeah, similar very horrible experience as well. I ordered 4 rear axle u-bolts. After about a week & a half I finally got tracking. After four days, I looked at the tracking information and they were showing being in Indianapolis, at the UPS hub.

Fast forward another week still sitting at the UPS hub. I contacted parts giant, they stated they had been delayed and they should move in another couple days. Fast-forward another four days, still sitting at the hub in Indianapolis.

I contacted parts, giant and initiated a refund as I suspected UPS lost the parts. Three days later I called to find out what was going on. They stated they would initiate a search. If my claim was validated, they would refund my purchase price.

Three weeks later, I get a notification that they had been lost and my claim was validated. Six weeks later, my refund is deposited to my account.

I will never use these “________“ for a single damn part, ever. Worst customer service on the planet. I have never had slower or worse service.

I ordered the hardware from Ford parts direct. I placed the order on a Saturday. I had the parts the following Thursday and this was standard shipping no rush or extra fees.
