I went to the local dealer to buy some coolant and touch up paint. Their prices were higher but after telling them parts.ford.com prices were lower and they matched them.

I've ordered many things from accessories.ford. Some items are drop shipped from 3rd parties, others from ford. Compare pricing / shop around as 3rd party sites may have the actual item in-stock (like summit racing) and at a price that beats ford's site w/ 20% off coupon. No you don't get FP points, nor can you use them, but those are good as cash at a dealer for other things.

Look at price OTD vs what you see in front of you. You may find it much cheaper than ford. I've gotten some killer deals from ford accessory site often requiring stacking of 20% or 25% coupons with rakuten cash back. I'd gotten 20% off on the site, + 20% cashback off of the remaining balance. That's a no-brainer on buying something I was interested in, plus came with ford points too.

Some reason the last order had no shipping info at all AND they'd misdelivered it. Pretty mad about that as it was MIA for 3 days. Had I known about it I would have searched day 1.

I just ordered from Fordaccessories.com. They pulled the 20% offer during the ordering process. Changed it to 15% . But the discount was less than 15% , should have been 60 dollars , gave me 39 dollars. But you can purchase the install of the part through them which was substantially cheaper than quotes iI was getting from dealerships. Otherwise it would have been no sale.

I ordered a tailgate liner and they only shipped the 8 screws. I called them and they said to send them back and they would ship a new kit. Well they only shipped the mat and no screws. Another phone call and 10 days later I received the screws. Also the mat was shipped with just a shipping label, no box.

This is the direction I've taken with this truck, too. I tried getting accessories from the Ford site with my discount but they refuse to ship large things to me (wheel well liners, as an example) and I could only get it shipped to my Ford dealer if I selected "install", which I don't want to do.

I think it's worth going to a good local Ford dealer to order parts or accessories for you, and if they will match the discounts, that's great. I had a buddy do with this with my dealer and he had a great experience. Or by aftermarket products which may even be priced lower and/or of better quality than Ford's parts (or not).

Six of one, half dozen of the other, I guess.

All I can say is that I feel yeah.

Absolutely worst experience of my life dealing with Ford Accessories. Had to get BBB involved once because they refused to refund my money. Calling Ford doesnt help either.
Oh, you mentioned lack of any sort of communication!? Ordered Tremor skid plate with 25% off code. Code was one time use. After weeks of wasted phone calls they cancelled my order. Thats after they charged me for the kit, then refunded the amount only to charge the amount 2 weeks later to then cancel the order.
best part? multiple members here posted they ordered the kit days after i did and received them with in days! after i waited a month with no answers only to have my order canceled. tried getting 25% off the new order only to be told it was one time use and i had used it...on my CANCELED ORDER!

This is about my recent experience with ordering from Ford Parts online (Accessories, Parts, Ford Performance, etc are all essentially the same). I was trying to take advantage of a 20% code I had for Ford Parts and purchased the Ford Performance Lowering Kit and the Aero Shield Delete for my 2024 XLT. Order completed successfully and I waited for a shipping update. Apparently, they provide zero order updates nor tracking information for shipments. The Aero Shield Delete kit arrived within two days which surprised me. I noticed on the packing list that the Lowering Kit was in fact "backordered". There was ZERO acknowledgement or flag about the lower kit being "backordered" anywhere on the website nor on my order confirmation. I called them this morning to get some more information. The guy I spoke with was cordial and professional, but... The call was useless and reiterated why I will look elsewhere in the future.

First, when you call into Ford Parts, they have zero visibility into the parts status. He told me that I need to contact a local "parts dealer" since they able to see status/updates, but he couldn't. Seriously?!

Second, once the order is in process, they can't cancel the order despite a partial ship and partial billing. I checked my account and they charged me individually for the Aero Shield Delete + $19 in shipping for a <1 lbs item in a box 10x larger than it needed to be. What?!

Lastly, if an item on an order is backordered for 30 days after the purchase date, the remaining parts will then automatically cancel. But they can't cancel the order prior. It's stupid!

It's 2024, not 2004. These requests seemed like pretty simple asks for a company selling products online in 2024, but they were worthless.

I called my closest "parts dealer" and the guy laughed and confirmed Ford Parts online is terrible and I should definitely work through local parts dealers in the future because they'll give you straight answers on availability and shipment status. He was able to confirm that the Ford Performance Lowering Kit has an "unknown backorder" listed and there's basically zero chance I'll see it anytime soon. I searched online and saw that Steeda had it in stock. I called Steeda on the phone just to make sure they did have it in stock and I managed to snag the last one on the shelf (spoke to John on the phone, great experience). It was a bit more expensive. Instead of $475 ($600 + 20% off) it cost me $549 at Steeda (current sale price), but I'll have the parts delivered in a week as opposed to NEVER. Also, Steeda offers free shipping over a certain amount which offset the difference a bit less.

I don't know if others have had a similar experience or not, but I wanted to let others know about my experience with Ford Parts online. I will absolutely avoid them in the future if I can find the parts elsewhere or just contact my local parts dealer directly.

I really believe that was the reason they stalled because I was basically ordering it for free. Had I paid them money I’d probably have my part. Anyone knows where I can order the Ford Performance side fender vents for the 21+ Ford F-150?

Yep! I ordered the above from accessories.ford.com on JULY 3rd, 2 DAY SHIPPING! Used Ford points used a 4th of July sale code. Now these show as totally gone. Called 3x - got a Case, they said it was in stock. (they don't know) Wow that site is totally useless, just like the people are that are there and don't know. Wow if they were not backed by ford they would be out of business with that level of organization. I got these for $40 bucks with sale, discount and points. Totally stupid and useless to pay for 2nd day shipping. One of the accessories.ford people said it was in stock when I called 5 days later. (They were telling lies)

Nightmare. It may as well be Temu with a static web page that doesn't update, show and stock or availability. "Customer service" has access to nothing.

Has not shipped, when I login to look at my completed order the partnumber no longer shows up on my completed order because they yanked the part number.

Total nightmare. I like the look of the Fender vents, I'll let you know next year if I get them.

The broke the site sometime in the last 2 months, all other orders gave shipping info but the order from mid june didn't have any shipping. Ford is really bad at keeping up with tech. It was working but they broke it :ROFLMAO:

Yes, same exact thing with wheel liners. That was it for me. I am actually on my 3rd Husky part, floor mats, wheel liners and rubber bed mat, all good quality.

yep! same for my tremor skid plate pretty much
i had used ford points too! had to wait for them to show back up.
also, try fairwayfordparts.net they might have the vents. i got my BAP vents from them and used my ford points.
