Ordering from Ford Parts Online - Avoid

Yep! I ordered the above from accessories.ford.com on JULY 3rd, 2 DAY SHIPPING! Used Ford points used a 4th of July sale code. Now these show as totally gone. Called 3x - got a Case, they said it was in stock. (they don't know) Wow that site is totally useless, just like the people are that are there and don't know. Wow if they were not backed by ford they would be out of business with that level of organization. I got these for $40 bucks with sale, discount and points. Totally stupid and useless to pay for 2nd day shipping. One of the accessories.ford people said it was in stock when I called 5 days later. (They were telling lies)

Nightmare. It may as well be Temu with a static web page that doesn't update, show and stock or availability. "Customer service" has access to nothing.

Has not shipped, when I login to look at my completed order the partnumber no longer shows up on my completed order because they yanked the part number.

Total nightmare. I like the look of the Fender vents, I'll let you know next year if I get them.

Just found out that if you’re willing to spend your own money but at a discount, you can get them here. I’m pissed that I couldn’t get them with my “Ford Points” and pay just $10 for shipping though. I just received an email from Levittown Ford today saying that they’ve processed my order and I’ll be receiving tracking information soon. So it seems like they do have them in stock and they have way better communication than “Ford Accessories.” I placed my order yesterday.

yep! same for my tremor skid plate pretty much
i had used ford points too! had to wait for them to show back up.
also, try fairwayfordparts.net they might have the vents. i got my BAP vents from them and used my ford points.

Response from Levittownfordparts.com: today 8-6-24 and they said (and I quote)

"M-1447-FPVENT

They are currently a few weeks out. We are taking orders and they will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. You can cancel the order at any time if you no longer want to wait."

So, these are on national back order.

Levittown gets it shipped from ford and then ships it to you
Or you could just get in line at ford. 3rd party gives you shipping, just delayed 2 days or so.

Hi Guys,

To clarify a few things most of the online "stores" mentioned here are just portals that funnel orders to Ford dealers. Communicating through these channels can be difficult at times as the dealer contact info is sometimes not disclosed. Personally I would steer clear of these platforms and buy direct.

In regards to part # M-1447-FPVENT these are on a heavy backorder and are not expected until September.

@Ford Motor Company I ordered part M5018FSP order# FAE:40333431 on December 10th. I heard nothing and tried to cancel December 26th, case CRM:06541000784. I have called and they said they won’t do anything for me and can’t provide if or when it would ship. They said back office will just “sit on this” and won’t do anything. They put the charge as a recurring charge on my cc so even canceling my card won’t stop them from continuing to post charges on my account without the ability of telling me if I’ll ever even get the item. So my cc company can’t do anything yet, and @Ford Motor Company will not do anything for me either. It’s been a month and I’ve gotten nothing more than guess you’ll just have to wait and see…
