They do.Don't forget to be sure your oil meets the Ford oil spec. At least on my Powerboost it is WSS-M2C961-A1. I don't think Kirkland meets it. Or the Walmart SuperTech.

Kirkland meets/exceeds what is needed, right from the Costco page for itDon't forget to be sure your oil meets the Ford oil spec. At least on my Powerboost it is WSS-M2C961-A1. I don't think Kirkland meets it. The Pennzoils I don't think do either. Or the Walmart SuperTech.
Im pretty sure the Pennzoil Ultimate meets the specs.I don't think I've ever found anywhere cheaper than Walmart for oil.

Mobil 1, Castrol EDGE and GTX Full Synthetic, Valvoline, Havoline, and Quaker States Full Synthetics do (check the labels).
I had seen that page, but please note that it doesn't have the "A1" listed. Only "A". I don't know if that is a difference or not but other oils specifically say "A1"Kirkland meets/exceeds what is needed, right from the Costco page for it

SuperTech "advanced" 20k full synthetic has your A1.I had seen that page, but please note that it doesn't have the "A1" listed. Only "A". I don't know if that is a difference or not but other oils specifically say "A1"
I pick up Valvoline EP 5w30 ($28.97/5-qt jug) and a Motorcraft FL-500S filter ($8.44) at Walmart. Works out to $44.90 of oil, $53.34 total with filter, per change. I collect the oil in my recycling container and dump it for free into the oil bin at the state solid waste authority recycling center five minutes away and throw the used filter into the oil filter bin.My 5.0 L takes 7.8 qts of oil… and the last time I stopped by at Valvoline drive thru it cost me over $100 for the synthetic blend the truck came with! (I realize the OP does his own oil changes and his post has got me thinking about doing the same… saving about $50 each change. What really frosts me is the charge they add on to dispose of the used oil… when they sell it to some recovery outfit to haul it away! Sounds like double dipping to me!
It seems that, while ideal for piece of mind, Ford doesn't actually require you to use either their "recommended" Motorcraft oil or an oil that has or one that specifically states that it meets the Ford WSS M2C961-A/A1 spec (certification). They say to "use motor oils of the recommended viscosity grade that display the API Certification Mark for gasoline engines."I had seen that page, but please note that it doesn't have the "A1" listed. Only "A". I don't know if that is a difference or not but other oils specifically say "A1"
