Haha only have doubts because the weird issue I’m having with usb ports, but hopefully it will update off the flash drive in the Usb C port. I’ll give it a solid month before doing an APIM replacement

If it shows up as a USB device when you go to audio sources, it is recognized and will eventually kick-off.

Super bummed...I typically pay for an FDRS license twice a year to update my truck. I see everyone here running a Sync version that was pushed out sometime last year. When I did my most recent update last year, I didn't get a Sync update. I fired up FDRS yesterday and the only two worthwhile updates I had were PCM and the Audio update. My sync version is 23 something. I guess '22 Raptors get no love.

Just to update, I was stuck in Sync 23291 and got an OTA yesterday for the BCM update (listed in FDRS but couldn't do it with NASTF login requirement) Checked FDRS before the OTA nothing new, then after OTA is completed all of sudden a GWM UPDATE! showed up to unlock sync 24127!! Thought the BCM was irrelevant to GWM and APIM updates!

Interesting...I'm going to check my truck shortly to see if I have any OTAs pending. Fingers crossed. I'm pretty sure I'm stuck on the same version as you were and like I was saying previously, there's nothing special about the Raptor Sync that should disallow it from being able to come up to the latest version.

Yup you need latest GWM and BCM to get the latest APIM

No update for me. I’m still stuck on 23291. So there is no way to force this? I can’t do the BCM update. Is there a specific complaint I can use to get the dealer to perform the BCM update?

I’m under my extended warranty now. I could use the ford pass excuse since it’s more intermittent than anything displaying in the IPC. I need to look at the terms of my extended warranty to see how much that BCM update might cost me.

Well went to do updates tonight and definitely have a problem. I finished up with everything in the list on FDRS and my truck now starts the motor without touching the brake. It also gives an error for pre collision assist and says i have too many things plugged into the pro power (nothing is plugged in). I do have CMDTC on my ABS and PCM. I am assuming the brake pedal switch is messed up and that is why the motor is starting.

I cleared and retested but they were still present. Are you thinking drive for them to clear? The only update available is ACM which doesn’t go away.

So the FDRS "retest and clear" (from memory) procedure didn't clear them?

If not. I'd shut the session down and reboot the pc.
And of course shut the truck down as well. Completely.

Then maybe launch Forscan and reset both modules.

Afterwards, since you are already in Forscan, you could try to clear all DTCs from there?

My understanding is it is meant to fix the buggy network connection issues: wi-fi, Bluetooth, CarPlay, AA etc.

Good morning folks. I have previously used FDRS successfully last year to get my '21 Lariat which was on the dreaded stuck version so I wouldn't receive any OTA updates.

I purchased another 2 day pass of FDRS last night, and have not been able to log in.

Here is what I have tried so far:
Installing versions 37.4.7, 38.5.7, 40.4.1, and 43.6.3 (uninstalling and restarting laptop in between).
Logging in via WIFI and Ethernet
Changing my password on the Ford site.
Completely disabling my Windows Defender firewall and app protection
Running FDRS in administrator mode

I tried to list the photos in order, but what I am showing is the network test and attempt to login in on version 38.57 as it seems to be the go to version when people have issues. The screenshot showing "Browser cannot be initialized" reflects what happens when I try to log in on the latest version of FDRS.

My laptop is the same one I used last year. Specs listed in photos.

I'm really at a loss here, as I am not a tech newbie. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I can also provide the error log file if neccessary.

There is a folder FDRS creates inside Program Data - if you can delete that, uninstall and reinstall FDRS - that should sort it for you. This has happened to me a few times (tons of issues if you are outside US/Canada) and this fixed it every time.

UPDATE: I see you are using Win11, this folder on Win11 is hidden, so you need to unhide it first. You can follow: https://lazyadmin.nl/win-11/show-hidden-files-windows-11/ to unhide and then delete the Ford folder. Please don’t delete any other folders. FYI the uninstall of FDRS doesn’t delete this folder so this needs to be manually canned. So delete the folder, uninstall and reinstall and see how it goes.
