Got through most updates. I have a new cmdtc showing for the ipma
Image processing module A not responding.

When I select the ipma drc I am offered some ipma routines. What is module A and can doing these help?

If the BCM requires the login just skip it, you'll get it in a future OTA.
For those being presented with a login for the BCM, what kind of prompt is it? Password only or Username and Password? Any screenshots?

You won’t be able to update that. Only a dealer login will work.

Have you tried to just clear the DTC? If not I would start with that.

I'm asking because FDRS has password protected functions for BCM on some vehicles. It's a known password which is why I'm asking what sort of prompt it is.

I'm not finding any way to clear dtc in fdrs. I thought it automatically cleared dtc's

I understand. You will not be able to update it without a dealer password. There is no way around it. It is an update that is being pushed OTA so you should eventually get it that way.

I don’t have a license at the moment but to the best of my recollection on the first tab you click view DTCs then you can clear on the tab it brings you to. I did clear some the last time I updated that didn’t clear themselves. If you can’t find it you can always close FDRS and open Forscan and do it that way

So ... it's a password or username and password prompt? You're not really answering my question.

Im beginning my quest for BC 1.4 in my 2021 Platinum 3.5 EB. I seem be seeing some conflicting information as to whether there is a particular order the modules need to be updated in. Can someone please confirm whether this is the case or not, and if so, what the preferred order is?

Here’s a list of my modules with updates available.

You should always do the GWM, APIM, IPMA and TCU first. So in your case I'd start with the IPMA since the others are not listed. It will take 3+ hours to complete the IPMA. But after that the rest can be done in what ever order you choose. Good luck. ?

Knowing the answer won’t help you but since you asked so nicely it’s username and Authy code. I didn’t know this 15 min ago because I knew it wouldn’t help me but I like to help out any way I can here where others have been so helpful to me.
