In a couple years, you'll have an ai personal assistant that's been able to read everything on here and automatically navigate / diagnose things. Wish I'd recorded all of my dealings with car dealers on negotiating, having an Ai be able to sound like me / use my tactics and do all of that "negotiating" on its own would be a god cheat code!
Now calling all dealers simultaneously at once while doing it
No problem -- we all stand on the shoulders of those who came before. Spending a few minutes to assist on something that could have taken an hour or more to figure out on your own is what it's about!

Edit.. I saw it was purple.
When the IPMA is purple and not responding let it sit and truck go to sleep. 30 -45 mins and come back and run a PMI. THat is typical behavior if a flash failed.
If you PMI it this morning it will be fine.

I think we are all curious what makes this truck special where FDRS doesn't like it. Not like Roush is a new thing. ?

I kinda did a fast look.. I see where he got the PMI running and it failed. Typical behavior of a non mongoose

i was just getting ready to type that I am not using a mongoose cable.
When i had to flash a roush update I used their recommended cable, Dashlogic/Dashbridge CX. When i talked to the Roush tech I asked if he knew of any issues with using that cable to use FRDS and he had no data.
While I was having issue the non mongoose cable didnt really cross my mind. Late last night I was ready some threads and saw where the mongoose was the answer so i ordered it off Amazon. They say if will be here tomorrow so if things dont work out today then I will just wait for the mongoose.
Im pretty certain the issue will be your cable. THe IPMA is on Can FD and the only modules that handle it well are the Ford VCM and Mongoose. Ive seen some other cables that are high end OEM styles do OK.. But its hit and miss.
Just wait for the mongoose. It is the best bet versus trying anymore. Not only does the other cables cause failures.. It garbles the data submissions. Causing updates to not release and bad data on Fords server.

I havent received one update since i bought it so i dont expect future updates. The Roush tune is blocking OTA updates in some way, according to Roush anyway.
I dont believe that at all. I looked at your vin and you have updates. You are far behind. Fairly normal for 21 - 22 trucks to be this far behind.
THe PCM strategy will not prevent updates. If the strategy isnt known or accepted by ford it wont be absorbed and in fords eyes it sees the OEM strategy. If its a ford approved Rousch tune then it is and again will be fine.
A lot of people dont understand the way these systems work and rousch despite knowing engines dont know the system either.

I recently updated all the modules since 4.2.1 on my truck in FDRS following this very helpful guide. Thank you everyone.
I have been up since 6am and did about 20 updates. After the test drive and doing everything but BCM, I have a PCM and SCCM DCT. I have rerun and reset numerous times and also tried forscan.
Can anyone point me in the right direction please? The IPMA will be green most of the time like it is now.
