Everything seems to have gone to plan, the only gotcha is a CMDTC for, I believe, camera 2 on the IPMA. I did do a retest but didn't yet try a "clear and retest". Should I run that (after the storms pass and I can get back to it.)?
I've seen cases where it takes some time for the IPMA to settle in and codes will go away. My own truck will throw out a random IPMA/camera code that goes away after day or two. If everything is working fine, I would not stress that.

I always use clear and retest. Some updates will do this as part of process but not all of them do.

I've never done DDM PDM initialization on three times I've updated them. From my experience it isn't needed but if you have time go for it. :)
I had thought that if an update really required it that it would have guided me there. But I'm also a stickler for instructions and Appendix II of the first post said to. :)

First thing I did after seeing it was checked all the cameras - and they are indeed fine. Since the storms hadn't gotten here yet I did go ahead with the clear and retest, but as you predicted there was no change. And I won't stress about it. ?

Thanks to all who have made this the go-to thread!

Here's my truck crying about the front camera last week. However this week, it's another camera weeping crocodile tears. This is why I don't even check the codes on my truck any more. lol Unless something is wrong, I don't even look at this.

Some trucks are hypochondriacs, they just need a day or so to chill out :ROFLMAO:

I still have the new to me code on my driver's seat module after last update that won't go away. Seat works fine so another code to ignore. :)

Do we know if the OTA BCM-24.6.R (enhanced power management) is the BCM update in FDRS that we are being prevented from installing?

I would think, yes. FDRS usually brings you to the most current level, and FDRS normally has the newest software first before it starts being delivered via. OTA.

A May morning in Wadonga Australia. That's ice.
Me and the wife were on a 14 day motorcycle adventure across the continent.

Probably? I posted the NHTSA details on what the update actually does.

I plan to have Rugedraw check for me if Ford decides to send it to me. If it is the mystery update it should fall off FDRS/PTS after truck installs it.

I've had pending BCM BCMC updates pending for a few weeks now, waiting on reports from guinea pigs before attempting ;)

Really? A guy on the Lightning forums just tried a few days ago and he had the same issue where he needed a password. Interesting.

Maybe some confusion Javier, I did have a BCMC update to do which worked, but like everyone else I can't do the BCM due to the extra security login?
