The issue is that you turned the ignition off and then went to verify too quickly after turning the ignition back on. I don't even turn the ignition off.. if you feel you need to then wait for several seconds after it turns on to verify the install

Also always try to verify again before doing anything

If it in fact didn't install and proceeds with the update then I can send an install of that file alone

So I have the 20amp charger exactly as the one on the first page, this time APIM didn't say, "Low Battery Socharge so all 5 GB downloaded on USB.

Loaded USB into truck, got the okay to remove, waited proper FDRS times and then got Update Failed"

All passed except MU5T-14H212-BCH is not installed. Any thoughts?

A couple of days ago I did all of the available updates for my '21 up to 3.5.3.2 and also updated my phone's (Pixel 6Pro) AA to 8.6.625054 and now have full screen Android Auto (but not full screen Google Maps because no cool-walk yet) and everything so far is working great. Except for one thing - now when listening to audio via AA I get skips/choppy audio. I've tried reinstalling AA, restarting the truck/letting it sit overnight, reconnecting the AA to the truck and no luck so far. It's sort of driving me nuts. Has anybody else run into this? Unfortunately I updated the truck and the phone at the same time so it's hard to identify the culprit.

I am having the same issue, It does not skip (buffer?) when wired using a wired connection.

You should try disabling AA and play music through the raw Bluetooth connection. That would confirm/deny whether it's caused by AA or the actually Bluetooth connection.

I tried this today and the one time I tried it for about 5 minutes it did not skip. I'm pretty sure it's an AA problem.

Google is cranking out AA updates every few days right now so I'd hang in there and see whether it's fixed in the next version or two?

They have to do that because they are cranking out flawed software updates every few days ... :D

Started my updates this afternoon. Sync 3.5.3 installed OTA while at work today. That removed the APIM update from my list. I updated the BCM, PCM, and ABS. The ABS was showing orange so ran a selftest on it and turned back green. Started raining so I had to stop there for the night. Getting the Reverse Assistance Not Available error screen when I moved the truck afterwards.

Hey all, Im in the process of updating the APIM module. The usb drive was plugged into the truck and the engine was on as requested. When I went back to check on it the engine is now off. Is this normal?

There is a setting that turns the engine off after idling for a certain amount of minutes. I would guess thats what happened.

Thanks. I believe I was able to get through the APIM portion now I’m on the TCU with engine off waiting 30 minutes.

Does it hurt anything to open the door in the middle of an update?
