Based on the long but distinguished list of updates, that Limited is literally limited from being a Limited.

The previous owner just thought he knew what that truck was like to own.

It's going to be so much nicer in so many ways. Soon. :)
Yeah the lightning was amazing with the everything up to date, cameras while moving, blue cruise, and just all the little stuff. I'm part of this forum for a while and so I'm going to try to find my Mongoose connector and unleash the limited.

Also a tidbit I discovered, when using a power supply connect the negative to a ground point and not the battery negative terminal. Otherwise the BMS messes with the power source.

If you can dedicate your time to it and update one after the other. Some of those updates will lead to further updates, especially the TCU/GWM/APIM.

Edit - I'd add that if you buy your license at a certain time of day you can actually squeak out 3 days. I can't remember the sweet spot, but I'm sure someone will chime in.
Buy Saturday Morning - good till Monday night.

EDIT: This Youtube video will give you an idea and how to connect the battary charger.

I’m considering buying the nano and updating the modules myself to get Alexa integration. Is there a way to know ahead of time, which modules may need updating?
Depends upon how far behind you are now.

Integrated Alexa requires you to be at Power-up Update 3.5.3, including all previous SW updates to APIM and GSM modules.

It is recommended you get a Mongoose and not the Nano to avoid issues. Read the first post of the FRDS thread stickied in this section for more details.

Yup. The thread title is just a text value that is displayed. Every record (thread, message) has a unique identifier (typically an integer value) that ties everything together. It's either the primary key or part of a primary key constraint (made up of a combination of multiple fields) on the database table to keep all threads (and their associated messages) together, even if some of the other fields have the same value (e.g., the actual title) as the same field in other records.

I'm happy that I popped for the Mongoose-Plus. Not one single issue and, other than waiting for APIM SW to download then copy to the USB drive, everything was super-fast.

I just purchased mine from Amazon for $539.95. I know, Im at wits end and am willing to pay. I have a question though. what settings should battery tender be on? 12V, 10A and STD? I just ordered the mongoose cable and the pro logic charger. Should I charge before attempting updates, or right before I start? I know I need it to be on during updates. Sorry for the stupid questions.

Not a stupid question. I charged mine beforehand if it had a low state of charge, then changed over to the power supply mode during updates.

THanks, can you tell me the exact settings you used to charge the night before you went to the power supply mode during the updates.

No problem. I didn't actually charge overnight. But I would most likely use the 2amp option as I've read the slow charge on these batteries are best.

I gave it about 30-45mins at 10amps to get the volts and SOC up. FDRS recommends 80% SOC at a minimum. Once you get voltage and SOC up, switch over to PS mode and you will see the volts remain steady. If they do drop, you can always pause for a break and start back up once battery health is back in range.
