@Jesse-Infotainment was awesome in helping ro get my sync version and update options to come back with the USB flash. Now that I am at that step can I get my dealer to re-enable the OTA updates? Or will I need to grab a mongoose a d fdrs license and do it myself?

Cheers,

Chris

August 10th PTS light reading on a variety of FSA/TSBs and two network tests.
August 11th PTS light reading on a variety of FSA/TSBs.
August 12th PTS review of FSA 21S56 and connected vehicle check (for DTCs I assume?).

Thank you, about what I figured, I think they told me they looked for the Trailer Module Update and couldn't find one, I told the service writer I did it myself.

Thank you for the help Mike

It will be more than the network scan at this point. I am willing to bet youll have several more updates after the APIM is shown as up to date. If youll have time to use it and get those done over the next two days then sure. The rest wont take nearly as long as this one did. The rest kick off pretty fast
Still waiting on my BECM to show up in my As-Built data too. I'd eat my shoe if someone would figure out how to make ET phone home at this point!

I know. I dont understand it. For anyone reading his post and wondering his issue.. he cant apply the BECM update. He cant apply it because for some reason the bECM has decided to disappear itself from his asbuild data. SO when you do the updates on modules with as build data it reads the online database to grab the config info along witht hte files.. Since there is no as build data it stops the update and fails it because it says no module exists. Really strange why this happened. I have added modules to my truck that after one network scan they show up on line. I thought by now the truck would self report and update his online database back to having the BECM(7E4) yet it hasnt.

Its been 3-5 months at this point. I didn't even see an OTA after the 1.7.1 fix by leaving the USB in the dash either.

Not sure if related or just other Ford shenanigany.

Thanks a bunch... Will not till you say so. The charger I don't use and can care less and the GSM is that one that wouldn't go away. I know there is a fix but not worth a resubscription.
Thanks again Jesse.. You da man!

Just out of sheer curiosity, can you please look up - 1FTFW1EDXNFA49026

This truck was built on 1/26 and then was held up forever in shipping hell. It has just reached the dealer. I'm curious to see how many updates, if any, are installed during PDI.

Well if your dealer's service department is like most, they'll take it out of transport mode and won't update anything unless there's a recall ("stop sell", or "hold").

So you'll likely still have most of this list when you get the truck:

Thank you, the trailer module has a recall on it so I guess they'll update that.
