I only have abs update left which i did already GSM which I also did plus SCCM and TRM but after BCM problems now im afraid to do the last two lol last night IPC was taking like well over 4 hrs something close to 99k update steps

Okay so I have no idea what happened but just drove around the block and TPMS recalibrated itself plus dome lights stopped pulsating ufff lol thank God!! Thanks everyone for help

I tried restoring to factory as build in Forscan but no go

Go to your BCM, save all and email me the file

Just bricked my CCM module after using my VX Nano.

I figured everything went so smooth the first time around that I wouldn't have any issues this time around and didn't bother checking first post for updates.

Does anyone have a mongoose in Canada I could borrow, or do we think that the VX Nano will get an update down the road that will allow us to use it again?

Failing that, if I bring my truck to my dealer to get a couple of recalls looked after, will they just see the issue and reprogram it without thinking its some enthusiast tinkering around?

@Jesse-Infotainment It all fixed and resolved by itself I hope ? I have never used Forscan on this truck at least not yet that's the plan for this weekend but my friend wanted tow mirrors so I did some changes on his '21 xl back in January that's why i have saved stock files. Anyway like i wrote TPMS and dome lights are working normally now. Thank you!!

Did you stop once you successfully made it through 1.7.1 and let OTA's take over or did you update to the latest and get blue cruise?

I went all the way. On two trucks. It was too much fun!

If your dealership can PMI your CCM, you will be good to go. I did the same with the Nano. So close to finishing all the updates available for my Job1 2021 and ran into the nano deal breaker.

Iceman and Jesse told me to breath and that it would work out. And the Mongoose fixed the CCM just as they predicted.

Yeah, I know its crazy, job 2 trucks APIM update give a USB error no matter what. I have tried a million times to update a job 2 apim and never fails to error out at the end. Ford has a real freaking mess on their hands with all of this crap. They are proving to be less than competent. Ive tried every USB I have and even USB C since its 14gb it takes a while to download and copy.

In fact i just got working on this again today trying to update an APIM for JOb 2 files.

So if you have a job 2 truck and they replace the APIM you are stuck forever with no updates and no cameras in motion?

They still haven’t released an update for job 2 apims so it’s a real mess. I could update your apim to job one latest software it has cams in motion

Yeah man. Job one has gotten so much attention it wound up being a good thing. Job two really hasn’t seen an update for the apim that has been released

they did do module updates but they are the same as what job one got. Ipma ccm and others are now on the same page As job two.

move had this issue with job 2 trying to update apimsfor months. I can’t get it to work no matter what. I’ve had to ship job 1 software on apims because of that. I haven’t had anyone report issues. It’s not ideal for me but it’s the only option at this point

Been reading thread for a while and finally joined a while back. I have a Job 2 (I believe as I have a blend date of 7/10 and build date of 7/28) truck, Platinum trim. Stuck at 1.7.1. Took to dealer here and they said they couldn't do anything.

I Have all the special cables and adapters, recommended power supply and my Mongoose arrives today. Was excited to get started until reading the last couple of pages. I may have missed something. Will I be able to get all the way to BlueCruise on a Job 2 truck? Is this USB error with the APIM update going to foil my efforts?

You are a JOB 1. I believe job 2 started at 7/19

Can you send me your vin and Ill take a look but Job 2 would have BC working from day one

At this point I'll try anything.

I was looking at the contents of the usb drive. What do you think about copying the files locally, then removing all but one from the USB drive and trying them one at a time? It seems they are part specific, so maybe doing them one at a time will isolate which one is not working. Any chance I could brick anything like that?
