Ah gotcha. I have mine turned off.....I don't like it.

I am not sure what direction to point you in, but I did in search in PTS for B1578 and it pops up in section 413-13B of the workshop manual. See attached. The code is referenced toward the bottom and calls for the 360 alignment to be done which I know you did. I guess skim through it and see if you find anything helpful.
This pdf doesn't show the actual tests of those codes, missing data. Clicking on them doesn't do anything.

I think I may have this sorted out. My postal code was changed back in April and some things don’t recognize it. I had tried my old one too, but @Kanuck gave me some info that suggested to put “General Delivery” in the second address line. That, plus my old postal code seems to work. I was able to get to the final purchase screen at least. I’m waiting till Friday again to try, since the weekend is half over. Hoping that works.
I was able to get my license today. It was all the postal code last weekend. Used my old one, plus the General Delivery comment and all is good now. So much time wasted because of that. Ugh.

I had 13 updates available, most of which went smoothly, but my IPMA is giving me an error saying there’s a DTC present - U2101 control module configuration incompatible.
My ACM also won’t complete, not sure if it’s linked to the IPMA issue?
I’ve been trying to search for a fix, but haven’t found it yet. Seems like it could be one of my Forscan changes?

Hoping someone can give me some advice on how to fix? Still have my license till Sunday.
Thanks!

Did you make backups with FORScan before making coding changes? Seems it would be easiest just to restore your backups with FORScan and then try your updates again.

I did, but when I tried to restore my as built info earlier I got an error about a mismatch or something like that. I’ve been reading all night and it sounds like it could be tied to the forscan changes for the backup braking. I’ll look at it again in the morning.

If you know what you changed in that module, you can probably just walk that change back manually and then write the changes without restoring the as built. Probably wouldn’t hurt to make a back up before you do that as well.

Got it. Had to restore the values in the first line from original backup, and that fixed it. All up to date now.

EDIT: ignore -- it finally activated. Maybe just letting it sit for 10 minutes? no idea. I had tried many times and makes you keep completing your personal information then failing.

----

I would love to get started on this -- have a mongoose and can't get it activated. Installed the software, it doesn't read the device. Green lights flashing. Failed to connect to device.

I would search but i can never get results returned using search.

Windows 11. Defender turned off.

Help?

Tried the APIM update on my 2021 today, which has never received an update. After running the updates on FDRS, downloading onto USB (exfat format), and prompted to insert USB into truck, FDRS runs its scan and returned these…

Is this normal or did I screw up somewhere?

you have to wait for the truck to tell you the USB was successful before telling FDRS to verify. Maybe you did that part, but you didn't say it.

Put USB in and wait. It takes up to 10 minutes for it to pop up on screen that it is doing the update. Wait for it to finish. Then turn truck off and open driver door so everything turns off. Plug the USB in laptop and do next step in FDRS to verify.

**If you are on the broken APIM versions you'll need USB in truck for several weeks to install.

USB should remain in truck until it tells you to take it out after following the steps and it will eventually prompt you to take out stick and follow what FDRS tells you to do next which would be to click yes on computer and then it will read and see if it took the update or not.
