Can I buy an fdrs license and send him the activation key?

I am in the UAE and use the same steps to get around FDRS and has worked every time. Only hiccup which I come across and it is a UAE thing, my VPN if throttled by the ISP will result in the VPN dropping off for sometime and Ford will suspend the account. Got to make a new one every-time or invest in a VPN that offers a kill switch option.

I think I may have this sorted out. My postal code was changed back in April and some things don’t recognize it. I had tried my old one too, but @Kanuck gave me some info that suggested to put “General Delivery” in the second address line. That, plus my old postal code seems to work. I was able to get to the final purchase screen at least. I’m waiting till Friday again to try, since the weekend is half over. Hoping that works.

Yeah it is already throttled here in the UAE but good call. Most famous VPN's are blocked/throttled here.

Good Morning I purchased FDRS license for the weekend and I have done it before with no problems.
but I can't seem to get past the FDRS login page says password is not good and I can't reset it.
any help/input would be greatly appreciated!

Servers could still be down for Sunday maintenance. You can also try logging into Motorcraft Services on the internet and then minimizing the page while logged in and then log in to FDRS afterwards.

I'm able to log in. Check simple things like pop-up blockers being off; that will affect the login page from coming up.

Yea, that's the software strategy. ACJ was the latest available for the F150's until a day or two ago.



It seems to only be available for the 2021 trucks so far. #teamjob1

Apparently there is a new APIM update in FDRS that came out in the last couple weeks. Don't know if that's the Q4 one.

the one that came out last month has the trailer maintenance screens. Other then that, I haven’t noticed anything. I would hang tight for the Q4 update.

In case anyone ever runs into this issue (as I know some in the past have) here are steps to take if your Ford Account gets suspended when using FDRS:

First inkling on if your Ford account was suspended from using FDRS is 2 things:

1. You will attempt to login and get an error that says "Too many login attempts. Please try again later. " even if this is the first time you have tried to login.
2. You will receive an email from FORD saying your account has been suspended:
   
   

I called the number listed in the email. It did me no good. After over two weeks of contacting ford I finally found someone who knew what needed to be done.

You have to contact the technical team via the motorcraft site. They do not have a phone number you can call for this specific issue. You have to head here https://www.motorcraftservice.com/Feedback/feedback and click the blue button at the bottom of the screen that says "Request for Other Help". You then fill out a form for the issue of your account being suspended.

Like a dummy I used an account that had ford pass points and I did not want to lose them. The technical team will email you back on steps you have to take in order to get your account back. Once I followed them, they told me I was activated. You then go to Ford to login and hit forgot password as your password has to be reset. Once reset, you are back in...
