This is actually the newest version of the hub, Ford has updated it internals. The original part number in your truck will be suffix A or B suffix D I'd the latest greatest.
I mean as long as it’s a quality part and it plugs in and operates the way ford made it to do I will be ticked to death to not pay that outrageous price they are asking!

Big Dog Daddy, you took the baton quite a ways back. And folks couldn't be in better hands.

Me? I've pretty much retired to being a cheerleader, at best. Sometimes an unrequested phsyc coach? ?
I do enjoy throwing a little optimism around. I owe it, because I received so much of the same. I won't ever forget jumping in head first and then bricking (purple) my CCM. My heart was in my throat, but Jesse and Iceman both told me to breath, and exactly what to do and assured me it was all going to be fine.

This thread has had more positive impact on Gen14 F150 ownership struggles than any I can think of. And I own other Ford products with their own dedicated forum, that have child-threads spawned from this one. So I could argue this thread passed the upcoming milestone a long time ago. :)

You might send a private message to @Kanuck since he is in Canada and usually pretty active here regarding FDRS stuff and probably has the best knowledge to help.
Thanks for the suggestion. Did that and we actually talked on the phone for a while on it. No luck. I’ve tried just about everything tonight to get the license bought. Has anyone in Canada bought one recently With success?

Snakebitten, Thank you for such a kind compliment, This thread has been the collective work of everyone here, I'm just a cog in that wheel. And you're absolutely correct that without this forum and thread there would be many disappointed F-150 owners out there. You, Sir have been a tremendous asset to this forum and everyone here always offering kind and encouraging help no matter the problem.

Jeff, I'm in Australia and had the same issue. The address for the licence must resolve to a physical address in the USA. It must also match the country you're connected to. I do the following:
1. Use VPN software e.g. expressVPN (no affiliation) to connect to a vpn server (I connect to New York). That satisfies Helm Inc. that you are within the states.
2. I use the billing address of "1 American Road Dearborn MI" as the address. This resolves to a physical address (I think we all know which that is ?).
That should get your licence purchased. Once that's squared away, again use the VPN to create your account on Ford.com, and use that same account to sign into FDRS.

See if that's a go for you ?

I have never had issues before. Last updated in April of this year. I will be getting a FDRS license the first week of November. A buddy and I go together and do both trucks at the same time. Will see what happens.

Still a no go. I tried something like that yesterday, and just tried again following your steps exactly. It gets me one step further, but stops me since the billing address doesn't match my card address. I get this error...
Card declined: The transaction has been declined because of an AVS mismatch. The address provided does not match billing address of cardholder.

Not sure what else to try now. Maybe a prepaid visa gift card that I could assign a US address to?

I can't remember if I asked this last night but
Is your mailing address a PO Box?

Nope, it's a standard address
sorry..don't know what to tell you. Try your parents card, if they would let you. See if that would work. Just use your phone number and email.
