So I ran a network test and the ipma cleared but not pscm
I have the same issue everything installed fine but the PSCM cleared and the IPMA is still hanging around. I’ve seen this happen before where it’ll eventually clear on its own.

yup. But my concern is starting an update for another module that then triggers the bcm module update. So I’m staying away from all of the latest 4 (BCM, IPMA, PSCM, and IPC)
For my truck none of those modules triggered the BCM update. It’s still sitting in FDRS for me.

I still have the BCM as well, not touching that thing until I get more info on the LED light issue (302a package)

New IPMA and PSCM installed. BC does seem better but I do not see any of the additional features like predictive speed assist. Am I right is assuming that there is probably additional configuration or updates needed to get these features like that in the ‘23?

I’m about to install the updates as well. Can someone shoot me a PM with the required ForScan edits needed? I’m PM my phone as well for a text or phone call.

I expect that to remain secret for a bit longer until it's officially released. I'm just patiently waiting to see if I get OTA to work. Only because we have winter in this state and I'm not freezing my ass outside with laptop. ?

21, 22 or 23....the BC 1.4 features are not enabled yet. But yes, it does include a substantial improvement in BC performance.

Many of us have paid Ford for the subsciption service already 3 years in advance. Surely Ford will reward us with the new version 1.4 over the air soon ! I hope ford is listening !

It's coming. And trust that they are here and listening.

I think I understand where we are at with BlueCruise 1.4 but I want to be 100% sure….

- All of the updates needed for 1.4 have been released for 21s and up
- the updates are missing the toggles to turn everything on
- this can be enabled using Forscan, but the information isn’t being shared
- another APIM update will be needed to enable these toggles

IF I have this all straight, it probably makes the most sense to hold off on buying a FDRS license until the necessary APIM update is released…

Can anyone let me know if I have this all straight or am missing something….

Thanks!

That is the understanding that I have about BC 1.4

I don't think we have reached the final update. Waiting to see posts of people praising it that did not force it on with Forscan. Until that happens I'm just waiting out the OTA process.

Item 1 - Via FDRS only, the new PSCM & IPMA haven't made it to OTA's for the earlier models
Item 4 - Also will need another IPMA module update as there are flags in there that have to be switched on

Pretty much. However, while the features for BC 1.4 are not in the PSCM/IPMA updates in FDRS now, the BC stability improvements seem to be in there. Many have reported BC 1.0 working much better after doing these updates.
