21 updates dropped this morning !
Will this be enough to end the 2021 inferiority complex? ?

???

Some brag the 2021 is the BEST year, because they are the most well equipped trucks. (fair point, by the way)
While others claim orphan status every time their younger siblings gets even a whiff of an OTA they didn't get first.

I don't think you can (should) have it both ways.

I promise Ford cares about its oldest child. ?
Man I can't wait until Bluecruise 1.x is finally delivered to a 2021 F150

Hi all.. hope someone can help me or point me to the right place to ask for this help. I got the Mongoose cable last night and started applying updates to my 2021 last night. All went pretty well but it errored out on the Body Control Module update, said Procedure Unsuccessful and Failed to restore Module Configuration. After doing some searching, I thought it may have been due to some Forscan changes I made a few months back..

So this morning I fired up Forscan, intending to restore the backup I took before making any changes.. but that errored and told me it couldn't read the file. So (like a dumbass) I tried to restore them all to defaults by downloading from Ford. This also errored at block #88 and hung at 98%.

So I closed out of it, and cycled the ignition, all seems OK except that my 21" radio has black bars around the edges like something isn't right there.

Wonder if someone could either help me figure out how to restore my original backup, or to correct the mess I may have made. Glad to send someone some paypal funds for your time and trouble if you can get me to a resolution!

Thanks in advance
Can you send me the vin and post a photo of how the screen looks

But you don't count.
You haven't and never will suffer from feeling like you might be left out.
You are blessed with the anything is possible Gene. ?

Which, by the way, has blessed countless others. I know. Cuz I'm one.

Believe it or not I had been being good and was not running 1.2 in my truck. I was really expecting summer release. So I waited as I was occupied with a 23 SUperDuty.

i finally broke christmas eve and installed 1.3 due to a drive I had to the family anfd it was clear that it was a HUGE improvement. I broke only because the IPC update had finally went out.

Everyone should be pleased with this new version. Ford did a good job with it. Im sure you can still freak it out and there will be issues but overall its a huge improvement.

Those with 23s may not notice as big a change as they had 1.2 hidden in their trucks it wasnt enabled. The later 23s had 1.3 hidden in their trucks just not enabled.

Lmk how long the IPMA/PSCM updates take. If they are showing for my truck, I will do it tonight. I have a somewhat long drive planned for tomorrow that will be perfect for me to mess around with it if I have the time to install it tonight when I get home from work.

Looks like no love for the 2021 Tremor crowd yet.

Renewed my license and run out for some updates, only to be disappointed (at least for now). Few other modules had updates, but none I remember traditionally "unlocking" IPMA or APIM updates.

It just started showing for 2021's today. Maybe they will show up before your license expires.

Same here ... but I also don't have BC.
I have 3 days left on my last 30 day license.
I'm just hoping for an update that fixes the Steering Column Control Module CMDTCs introduced with the last BCM update.
If we don't get any love before license runs out ... I may hold off for a while giving ford any more funds.

I don’t have BC either but the IPMA and PSCM showed up for me this morning. You won’t see them doing an unconnected FDRS lookup. You have to be connected to your truck and then do a network scan. Then you should see them.

For non-BC trucks, the IPMA takes about 2:40 with the Mongoose. PSCM takes about 5 minutes.

For this particular error immediately after the BCM update, you might not need to do a PMI. I got the same error. So, I did a network scan, view CMDTCs, and got 18 DTCs. They were all communication errors. None was a configuration error. So, all I had to do was a clear & retest and all modules then reported in green. No errors and the BCM update disappeared. I did a couple of follow up self-tests on the BCM to make sure—all good. Haven’t seen any problems.
I had to do the same thing on Thursday. Freaked me out at first. But did the same and drove the truck yesterday, no issues, everything is working as expected.
