ECU module programming guide using FDRS

Well 1st time trying to use fdrs and software version 38 and win 10 on laptop. says can't connect to fdrs servers. not sure if that is true or the version, I'm using isn't working right. so, I guess I'll wait till 9am Monday morning see if that is the issue, if not then going with version 37.4.7 I believe and hope it works. and yes, first time logging in does suck for sure!! also i installed tow mirrors on my f150 what section holds the mirror config? and the lane keeping Aswell?

Yes, was able to update my modules and setup my tow mirrors weren't too bad of an experience but damn that sync update wasted 3 hrs. of my life!! now I have to fix my back up something, because I got my bed line=x'd and now get a backup assist warning not working etc.

They probably forgot to plug something in if they moved the bed back to spray.

what DTC do you have ?

If its 1578 in the IPMA you need to run a Calibration

360 calibration if you have 360
Pro trailer back up Calibration if you have rear cam only.

I believe its camera recalibration is what I need to do. I got 22 tremor 402a fully loaded before all the parts went missing from people's orders. I did have a generator issue and found that they unpluged the generator plate from the bed and I re plugged it back.

You may hold off on that. THat update doesnt make any sense. It would be rolling you back quite a bit.

I checked several 21s.. THey all have it.

This software came out in 22. So its really strange. Not sure what the plan is. They are not new

ok well another 3hrs watching the laptop screen for this...... it did drain my battery to death almost , after it installed it did a test run of modules and all passed, then it said it failed I'm guessing from a almost dead battery not able to turn on the cameras maybe? but i left charger on it , actually got a 5amp and put that on had a 2 amp which wasn't smart. but after battery has at half charge it turned over the truck drove to dinner and all seems fine looked at 360 and other cameras including the bed camera which functioned ok. Think I might upgrade the battery tho. still have like 2-3 more software updates.

I ended up getting a PowerMax PMBC 100 Amp and it even spools under load at times during these flashings. I really wanted a Schumacher INC100 DSR, but it was too much $$$.

It's a worthy investment to look at getting IMHO. I've also used my friends Clore Automotive PL2320 power supply. It worked fine, but even it can't hold the voltage stable like the PowerMax can.

Thanks for the tip on the Schumacher INC100 DSR. I just ordered one after looking it up and watching the video.
