Agreed. I like it for the simple fact that I can get most of the way out of my neighborhood without the engine kicking on, especially after each and every speed bump.. Prior to the Eboost tune, it would kick on/off on just about every speed bump as I slowed down or applied brakes.Prior to EBoost, I would get 21-22 MPG on a tank. After EBoost applied, I get 23-24 MPG. I usually run 93 octane.
The tune does exactly what it says it does ... keeps truck in EV a bit longer on initial takeoff from a stop before ICE kicks in ... usually 4th or 5th gear.
Based on my slight increase in MPG and price of gas, I have no idea how long it would take to make back my $99. Perhaps never.
It doesn’t matter to me about paying for itself. That driveability improvement you describe has my interest peaked.Prior to EBoost, I would get 21-22 MPG on a tank. After EBoost applied, I get 23-24 MPG. I usually run 93 octane.

Can't you just keep it in tow mode (which will not allow it to switch to electric, boogie woogie woogie)The only thing I've yet to experiment with is to keep the ICE running on demand
Far too clunky to command ice on with that poorly designed hall effect ring, as well as the undesired functionality of tow mode itself. Can't you just keep it in tow mode (which will not allow it to switch to electric, boogie woogie woogie)
I found the light tap on the brake trick in ECO mode to disengage the ICE but that is it. How are you doing it?I didn't choose to use the option. While I'd prefer a dedicated button for state reversing / holding, In less than 5k miles I've gotten extremely good at managing the system and I'm able to turn the ICE on/off as desired.
Most of my gains are by understanding the route and the truck itself. I've found a double tap of the brake to provide better ice killing results than a single brake. I keep the little hybrid display up to maximize efficacy of my approach. It's unfortunate that navigation will overtake its display on the IPC though.I found the light tap on the brake trick in ECO mode to disengage the ICE but that is it. How are you doing it?
Thanks, good to know ?Most of my gains are by understanding the route and the truck itself. I've found a double tap of the brake to provide better ice killing results than a single brake. I think a 1 pedal approach for maximizing regen would be a suitable alternative. The current approach with baby regen on throttle release is a poor approach.

The tunes they send that are e boost say it in the title. Did they send you those tunes with that in the title, then obv selected it when loading the tune to the truck?I had the standard Livernois tune for 7 months and recently paid the extra $100 for the e-boost option...absolutely no difference in any parameter. Not the length of time on E, speed I can maintain on the E, mpg, nothing...no difference at all.
I got my tune in March and the e-boost option was released in April. The truck was nearly new to me at that time and I had very little experience with it completely stock so it's possible they had put the E option on it without me being aware. IN which case I wish they would have just refunded my $100...
