Guess I don’t understand all this “force delete” stuff.
1. I have received NO notification from the dealer
2. My window sticker clearly shows Co-Pilot 360 Assist 2.0 INCLUDING 3 years connected built-in navigation
3. My truck won’t even be built till next week

So I’m assuming I avoided all these force deletes then?

So, going by how the Ford memo is worded, it seems like if you were scheduled before the memo was released, you might be ok if you are 501A or lower. I guess the question is, when did this memo go out?
Going to be annoyed if it gets removed from mine as I was scheduled last week.
Given this wording, I think being scheduled doesn't help. This likely can't be edited on a vehicle order after scheduling normally, so Ford will do it.

Orders that are not updated by May 26th, 2022, regardless of status (scheduled and unscheduled) will be amended by Ford to remove these options on May 27th, 2022

It's possible you snuck in just under the wire. Parts could already be allocated to your build. Your sticker was updated after the auto-removal date, so, fingers crossed!

That's what I'm trying to figure out as well. Mine is scheduled for June 7th, and I was called about this but my window sticker still shows it all as well as of today.

At this point I really have no idea. But what I DO know is I’m gonna lose my absolute mind and all hell will break loose if I’m not contacted, a delete is not indicated on my final WS, and I show up to pick up the truck and it’s actually been removed without my knowledge beforehand. A measly $200 back ain’t gonna get it done

My sticker came yesterday too with a build date of 6/6, and it shows the same thing. I'm hoping that means we made the cut for it. It also still shows Co-Pilot 360 Assist too so I guess fingers crossed that we avoided all the force deletes.

Perhaps it's related to a shortage of satellite antenna/receivers. The OP posted they were deleting connected navigation and SiriusXM. That sounds to me that Ford may be using communication satellite bandwidth...maybe on the 6 SiriusXM satellites.
The connected Nav requires cell service to function, so it’s got to be piggybacking on the vehicle’s cell modem for that, not using sat service. They *could* be pulling traffic and weather data from SiriusXM like some Aerospace designs, but if that were the case they’d just omit those features and you’d have connected nav without traffic.

The connected nav would require a GPS module of some sort, and the two systems must be sharing an antenna module or receiver module, based on the loss of both features. I’m pretty sure it’s the antenna module, because I don’t think the two features actually use the same receiver.

Many vehicles package the Sirius XM antenna in the same mount as the sharkfin antenna now, usually in a flat spot on the package, but since the F-series uses a conventional whip antenna, not a sharkfin, it would make sense to package the two satellite service antennas together since GPS and SiriusXM operate with similarly sized and shaped antennas so they’d be easy to package together in the same “puck.”

Unfortunately, by packaging them together, that would mean a shortage of a part for one, or a shortage of the whole modules, would take out both SiriusXM and any feature requiring the nav system’s GPS (the cell chipset probably has its own GPS receiver, most do, but the fact that Ford wasn’t using it to begin with suggests it didn‘t meet their requirements for some reason).

Built in nav sucks anyways. Whenever I lose cell signal I lose the entire gps map. The screen just loads gray and a message something to the effect of “maps cannot be loaded”.

the most worthless nav ever.

502a high, fwiw.

I have used nav on my Platinum Powerboost for better than a year and never had a complaint or a navigation system fault of any kind.

There are two covers on the roof.

How will not having GPS/Nav affect your ability to use BlueCruise self driving? My PB has it and the software update I get a year of BlueCruise.

What do you mean "drop" (navigation), as in the truck won't have built-in/GPS navigation capability at all, or will it have it but without the 3 years subscription?

Looks like @Ford Motor Company is working hard to shift die hard customers to its competitors.
I'll be calling my dealer tomorrow. I'm scheduled for a June 20 build but if this is true, EFF Ford. I'll cancel my Platinum order. I pull our travel trailer from the east coast to the Pacific Northwest and back every summer. Sirius Xm is a must. Also a must is the Nav and I also subscribe to traffic and weather on my 2018 Powerstroke F-150. No way in hell are they going to knock off a few measly bucks on those options. Already lost my massaging seats. What's next, manual crank windows?
My 3.0 Lariat powerstroke runs too good to compromise at this point.

When you speak with the rep, if he sounds like he knows something, come back and let us know what he says. There has been a lot of different things mentioned so if you do get any definitive answers to what exactly will be lost and what exactly you will still have, please let us know.

For what it is worth I do not think the Platinums are affected, at least not yet, but good luck speaking with them.

They're getting electric customers now. They think they don't need us anymore. This is more of that woke s***. Seems available commodities are being routed to the EV branch, To hell with the rest. I'd bet on it.

There is zero doubt that they are routing stuff to the Lightnings vs the ICE trucks. I have no issues with EVs, but I think they have gone about it wrong by alienating their traditional customer base
