As anyone found a fix a a way to disable these 2 annoying features in Forscan or other way?

1. AC turns on every time the truck is turned on even if all auto features are OFF.

2. When going in Sport mode, 4x4 turns on automatically. It can be switched to 2wd after but annoying.

This was not an issue on my 2018.

Mine doesn't go into 4x4 in sport mode. That seems odd

XLTs do not have 4A. Sport mode in lariats and above automatically put it in 4A.

The plot thickens. My '24 Lariat 5.0 does.

1. Yeah I was annoyed by the a/c turning back on automatically each time since I had gotten into the habit of turning it off for a few mins prior to parking to try and dry off the condenser and avoid mold on my 12th gen I had before this one. I've since decided to let auto mode do its thing and see what happens.
2. Any reason you don't want 4A turning on with sport? The 4A transfer case uses clutches and is perfectly fine to use on dry pavement and gives you better traction during hard pulls. My understanding is that in 4A, the truck only uses the rear wheels until it defects slippage then engages the transfer case to keep traction.

Funny, my truck I was the opposite a few months ago. The truck would always have the heat, heated seat and steering wheel going when it wasn't winter here anymore and surely wasn't needed. First world problems I guess.

so it’s 75° outside and you have your temperature control set to 68. Yes, your air-conditioning will start up.
However, if just prior to turning your truck off, you turn the temperature control to say 77 and in the morning it’s 74, the ac will not kick on.

In manual HVAC mode, is there a range between the measured outside temperature and the cabin temperature setpoint that doesn't activate the heater or the AC?

For example, if the truck measures 75 deg F outside, and i set the cabin temp to 75F.
Then the outside temp changes to 74F does the trucks HVAC control system turn on the heater because the cabin setpoint is still 75F even if the HVAC system is not set to auto?

Conversely, in manual HVAC mode, if the the cabin temperature is set to 75F and the outside temperature changes from 75F to 76F, does the truck turn on the AC?

No, your setting on the AC is just the desired setpoint for the cabin. The HVAC will self regulate to in auto to get to that temp. in manual mode I believe everything is constant regardless once you set your temp and fan speed.

Another fun thing about the AC is when it turns on when you have it set to off while driving. I like windows down AC off most of the time. On multiple occasions, after driving with it off for some time, cold air starts blowing out of the vents with the indicator light still off. Apparently it’s expected.
